Speaking of self defense, I just got myself one of these little things:


They're made of sturdy plastic and go on your keychain. If you feel the need, you put your fingers through the eyes and can then punchstab people to inflict pain and hopefully deter them.

 

That is an excellent combo of tools. Love things that have multiple uses like that, pretty well perfect.

Got back from impromptu Steak 'n Shake trip. They didn't have cake for the birthday cake shake so I got the strawberry with fudge instead. Service was awful. Beginning to think the general politeness in wording and tone is ignored because I don't often make eye contact. Buh.

 

when you go to steak and shake does it take you like an hour to get your food even when there's nobody else there, or is it just a local phenomenon?

Bleh, work is kicking my butt this week... Been too tired to do anything when I get home, and my sleep schedule is fucked up. Hopefully today is a little nicer.

I don't like Steak N' Shake. The one around here has had some health horror stories, and I had a shake from it not too long ago, which I accidentally left out AND IT NEVER MELTED.
