oh joy, sexual assault awareness week at school, email newsletter went out to everyone saying there are going to be "education committees" outside every building making sure everyone understands what a serious issue it is... meaning angry students with bullhorns. fun fun.

EDIT: just for clarification the "education committees" aren't the schools idea, they came from student council getting pressured by student activism groups, including the one that was cherry picking their data from that survey for "destructive behavior guidance programs" proposals. can it be next Saturday already?

Well, I'm also not a BD supporter in any fashion anymore, so I don't really have any interest in being there. That aside there are a few who are extremely hostile in my direction without really being aware of what it is they're doing. Although I check up on a couple threads occasionally, I would rather just avoid the kerfuffle.

There is an overall friendlier community here that I can post silly things in and talk to others about sex toys and that's just good stuff~

 

It's nice because we don't really have a purpose. We're not here to discuss BD, we're just a bunch of weirdos with a shared interest, and from that point that ties most of us together, we branch out, relish each other's company, have fun, and spend time together. We're more of a social network than a forum, just a bunch of friends loosely held together by fantasies and dicks, but strongly bound by everything else. ^^

Agreed, this place has all the good things that BD had/has, (friends, community, thoughtful expression, laughs, and more), without the 'BS' and threat of of persecution by others.
I'm so glad this place has continued in the tradition.

Just had one of those flashes of inspiration. Just came up with an awesome idea for a story to accompany a couple of commissions I got a little while back. Considering I've never written any stories other than assignments in high school this is completely out of the blue for me. I REALLY want to sit down and write it now but it's after 11pm and I've got an early start. But i have jotted down the basic outline so I can't forget it.

So excited to see what I can come up with now that I've got some inspiration! (Figures that a smutty story idea gets me all excited). Once that's done I'll need to find someone to proof read it, but thats a problem for later. Night all!

 

As far as community goes, this is the better place because of what Exeter Already said. I can actually come here and have people listen to me and help me with anything I might need. Even if they cannot, they give me reassurance knowing I have people out there that care. Even when no one IRL can support me or are unavailable.

That's why I prefer it here. Where my post don't get washed away.

Why is it that people say you're a great person and flatter you with compliments and act like a friend until they realise they can't get into your pants then abandon you for an easier target.

That happened to me recently snow. .basically I got a bf and the 'friend' was long distance so it was never going to work.
Told him to stop asking about my sex life. He stopped talking to me completely.

After years.. Just like that. Boom.

 

Yeah it just seems that friendships when your older don't seem to exist because sex gets in the way. Who the heck said a grown up life is fun, needs to have the living crap beaten out of them to oblivion and beyond.

I wanna go back to the care free childhood were friends where generally friends, not cause they were trying to get into your pants.
