What Is On Your Mind?

Hhh, I know how you feel. I have astigmatism in my left eye that was discovered during my last appointment a few years ago. I've learned to just live with it and my current glasses that I got for it, but it really feels like the blurriness can't be helped at all. And maybe it can't? But I've never had such a wonky prescription before, ahhn...

 

GRRRR. Have to wait until tomorrow now to pick up my new chastity cage. I missed the delivery at home and got the card to collect it from the post office. Got to the post office at 5pm exactly (their closing time) and they've already locked the door and would not let me in even though they could clearly see me. I made sure I left a number of very sticky hand prints all over their windows just to make a point...

 

My left eye has astigmatism also, and my doctor always accounts for it. I've got those contacts with the tiny weight near the edge at the "bottom" and it's got a crescent of (I think) thicker material to account for the eye shape. Once, my old doctor also tried doing that for my right eye, but that totally didn't work out. Not sure why they change stuff up like that.

 

Aaack, that's the absolute worst D: Missing something by just minutes, argh...
Reminds me of my last BD order, where it was on the truck for delivery since 8am and I didn't have work until 4pm, so I figured sweet, it really should arrive before I leave. It didn't, I left for work, I returned home from work to find the notice saying that they had tried to deliver the package just 10 minutes after I left. Huee!

 

I turned up for work early, even though I wasn't sure I was supposed to be in today. Went to see if I'd been signed up for the day, receptionist said she couldn't see that I had, but had to check with someone else anyway. That someone else didn't know, so had to check with the boss. The boss said it was up to the agency, and phoned the agency to check. The agency told me not to turn up unless they told me to in future. I left to go grocery shopping, only to get a phone call an hour later while I was out asking if I could go back and work. Drove all the way back to the workplace, signed in, went to talk to the boss again, and he told me that he hadn't asked for nor been told to expect me back today and he had enough people already signed on anyway.

What an absolute fucking mess and waste of time. I hate working for agencies, absolute muppets.

Anxious AF, decided the day was going to be wasted whether I slept or not, so opted for not doing that. Have four hours to finish doing everything I need to do that requires driving, don't think it's too safe around the 24 hour mark.

Chased pylons. The "gens" one was a blind "I really shouldn't be taking pictures while driving so I just pushed a button and hoped for the best" shot, ofc happened to focus on the sun. Can still see the bulk of these very tall towers though.

As far as I'm concerned it's just another day. I don't really care about the jokes or anything, I want some of BDs april fools items but don't wanna spend the cash. So meh, just gonna work on commissions and art trades.

XD lol yea. Uh, idk the shot glass and freeman mainly. But $15 for a shot glass and $80 for a crowbar is ridiculous so hell no. Also, I like how the die went up in price XD
