Basically we got to talking, we both felt like it just wasn't working and decided to end it. But we still plan on being friends.

 

And... how do you feel about that? Mutual breakups are something I've never really seen.

And on a side note three of my exes are now either married or getting married shortly. Yaaay

Hard to explain. Plus I'm not a good example, I don't really show emotion when a relationship ends. I always keep in the back of my mind "Odds are we'll break up." and I don't let my emotions get out of control. So I am not one to ask how it feels.

 

Just not really sure what to think of it. One is a lesbian now and in my home town currently introducing her fiance to her family. I am thinking I might try to stop by and see them when I'm around tomorrow.
The next was veeeeeeery Christian and I'm an atheist who makes no apologies and shortly after she broke up with me for not believing in god she picked up a new boyfriend to whom she is now married and with whom she now has a baby.
The last I broke up with to come out of the closet and try dating men, after a rough patch she met a guy who presented a lot of problems, hid a lot of his sex life from her, and wasn't remotely open about his sexuality or habits, but apparently she got over it and they're getting married some time this week. She never even told me, I see her friends on facebook saying they're packing their bags for the trip and I saw her mom flying there. I didn't know why, the mom's boyfriend just died and I figured she wanted to be with her daughter.

It's so weird to see people's lives take off tangentially from where we were once upon a time.

 

Well I'm glad you're being pragmatic about it. It's not a truly sad thing to end things with somebody who isn't really your ideal match, but that doesn't mean it's not hard, even traumatic. If you'd like to talk you know I'm always keen to. I suppose the next question is, how do THEY feel?

 

i wouldn't have married him. But yeah, I feel the same. Here I am sitting here alone, yet I am content at the same time cuz my stress needs to be handled on my own and I'd rather not push away those who I care about, which is what I feel I would do if I even had a boyfriend.

 

Neither would I. He's musically gifted and sporting a FAT cock but his sexual habits were a huge issue for her for a while, not to mention the fact that he's quite religious and she now regularly attends church with him despite not really ever having any inclination towards belief. His "crimes" include: Membership on a gay dating site. Long skype calls with girls from his past, dirty video messages with girls, lots of porn with a trans theme, nothing bad in and of itself but it wasn't anything they'd actually agreed to and trusted each other about. She kept snooping and confronting him and he kept crying and they'd just brush it under the rug. I guess she brushed it under far enough that she's happy to marry him. I think I'm going to give her a phone call shortly.

 

I see how it feels weird but marriage is nothing more than a status symbol for social media.

Just had thunder so loud and forceful it shook my ceiling fan and made the house creak. Went on for a full minute and made me wonder if the sky just split open. Good thing I wasn't trying to sleep.

 

I guess I'm the lucky one not having to deal with all these relationship dramas in life.
Also everyone gets the cool weather.

 

Goodness I'm jealous. Storm season is starting soon though (we had our first one of the year about 24 hours ago!), and that is cool.

An ex friend. A friend. A former interest? he did some damage to my trust, consent being a thing overlooked and it ought to have not, and my own feelings on the matter and his companionship are at ends and frustrating.
