Not not living at my house lately, has really cut into my private time for toying.
I'm hoping that will change in the next few months. Having Mo living at my house will be so much better, once I get the space rent paid up, and repairs done that are needed.

Eeeeh, I did try those things. I tred attending the local gaming clubs, but holy shit, stereotypical nerds everywhere. And not the good kind. Obnoxious fandom merch, acne, greasy ponytails, fedoras and cringey dialogue galore. I'm not sporty, but I did try a few places. I attempted to get into freerunning, but once it was obvious that I'm not a naturally athletic person, I kinda got excluded by everyone else. Nobody in the gym wanted to help, teach or even talk to me despite my best efforts. I did enjoy Aikido classes though, but the guys were all middle aged and had their own little clique with almost no common interests to me. I've tried car clubs, but I'm fairly sure that almost every car enthusiast around here is also a massive dickhead. The kind that would almost definitely get aggressive or distant if they knew I'm not straight or cis. It seems to be a recurring trait amongst car people, in my experience; they're all "lads".

To be honest I wish I knew more LGBT people with common interests, but the ones I have met are all super serious and have nothing in common with me. Generally, I just tend to be the person that everyone drops to go do other stuff together. I have tried going to bars/clubs/parties before but I don't drink, so I didn't really have good experiences. Being the only sober person in the room is no fun. I also found that it made me somewhat of a target for assholes to pick on. Where are the cute, emotional people with awesome interests like the ones I see on Tumblr? ಥ_ಥ

Maybe I'm being too picky...

 

That is a shame, there are more than a few here in Vegas, that are gay or bi. A fair number gay women as well.
Most that I know, are involved with SCCA. While they do not stand out at first, they can be found in many auto related activities. True, it may not be the same in the UK, but one never knows. Do keep an eye out.
I hope you keep trying, there is bound to be a few out there, hiding in the wood work.

getting reeeeally fucking sick of my sister being nasty to my dog.
Apparently, he's not allowed to walk around the house, and must be kept either in my room or his crate. If he touches any of his toys he gets shamed and scolded by her and I hate it. He's NOT a bad dog. He's done nothing wrong, and I don't want him to think that he has, and have his spirit break.

She's nasty to her own dogs, but I won't tolerate it with mine.

I hate when pet owners are like that.
Just because they treat their own like shit they take it out on the other animals.
That really sucks though. I'd probably tell her where to stick it.
Or you know. . You could try assertively explaining to her that your dog isn't doing anything wrong so there's no need for her crap attitude towards him >>

 

Hey it's not picky to look for connections that matter to you! My suggestion is one side of the coin. The other, is approaching people in a venue where your common interests are already established. Those people all had cliques you felt excluded from. Nobody here is in a clique though, there are brits here, and on the original forum, who are sexy and nerdy and fun. Most of the friends I've made here are too far away to meet any time soon, but I did meet Bryn, and a boyfriend, and make all kinds of connections worth investing in. I'm friends with Foxdon from the old forum, he's English, a furry, nerdy, obsessed with movies just like me, and we have a great time just talking. It might not hurt to just reach out and see if you can find a friend locally through one of these established networks. If Foxdon was within driving distance not only would he and I be hanging out all the time, we'd absolutely be screwing each other whenever we had the time.

 

No...she lives in mine. LOL.

She's like...easily 3 times my size...if not more...so I'm usually non confrontational with her about things because she could seriously kill me if she wanted to (and she has anger issues) but if this keeps up, I'm evicting her ass.

 

If I were to have a dog, that dog is my child, any form of abuse, like what she's doing, and out the door with a police order. Family or not, I don't tolerate abuse of any sort.
