What Is On Your Mind?

The relationship really isn't as bad as I make it sound. Things rarely get like that, and I don't usually talk about the countless positive experiences I've had with my family. I do love my parents and things are usually pretty okay, but when things go to shit they really go to shit, such is having older parents. The things they've been through, they really don't deserve me starting drama with them. My mother's much like me in that she doesn't particularly have anyone else to vent to and has a lot of stress in her life. So we both end up with severe stress build up and we're each the only other person IRL to feel the impact. It tends to come and go, but I'm more than understanding when it does get too much.

My sisters completely deserve what happened to them though, the shit they pulled.

It's just frustrating that I can't communicate my personal problems to the closest person to me because she's got more than enough of her own.

 

Derp, I placed an order for two toys from Frisky Beast. One small firm Mech Animal 2.5 themed after Foxy the Pirate (FINALLY), and a small firm Cave Bear themed after Pangoro. I hope they come out nicely! Also, am drinking one Mike's lemonade :3

 

I never understood how adults are like "oh my parents won't let me do blah". You are an ADULT. What the fuck? That is a lame excuse and you know it. They cannot stop you.

 

Huh, that's the first I've heard of that place. Looks like they have some nice stuff. I also approve of the mech Foxy dick.

Of course they can't, but that doesn't mean there aren't consequences to doing it anyway.

 

I am at the hospital to find out if my mate's chest pain is esophageal damage from last night's food poisoning or something worse.

 

Sometime I'll get their 3.0 Mech dick too but don't have a theme for it yet. Maybe if there's some other robot sexy fiend out there I want then maybe xD

I think it's more along the lines of maintaining the peace and a good relationship with your parents.

 

I already explained further up. Aside from being the only people I can socialise with and can rely on, I no longer get to live with them, get contact and support cut and have my emotional ties trounced. While I'm still completely incompetent at living "in the real world" and remain £50K in debt, it really isn't an option even if I wanted to chose it.

I've also mentioned previously that my emotional ties to my family are the only thing keeping me alive at this point.

 

Thanks. We'll see. Right now, the pain is gone, they've gotten enough fluids into her (it may actually have been a mild heart attack triggered by severe dehydration), and they're seeing a normal EKG. She's getting a chest X-ray right now, and we're waiting for the bloodwork to come back.

 

Canada has decided that come 2017, we'll be getting rid of the nickel. We're also apparently planning to introduce a 5$ coin. It looks awesome.

 

It does look awesome but... what will you call it? The Looney, the Tooney, and... the Wolfy?

My parents are divorced and my dad is a super religious nut. And my mum is an open minded person who's no longer religious.
God forbid dad ever found out I bought sex toys. it nearly killed him when I said I wasn't a virgin.
Mum knows I get up to mischief and she just says 'be safe'.

While the concept of abiding to some parents rule is unheard of to me since I got free rein, I can sympathize with the emotional ties.
And I don't think it would be so clear cut to just 'tell them to get fucked'.
It saddens me some of you members appear to have quite controlling parents, but I can understand the need for settling for a tolerance, wishing to avoid the conflict.

 

Yeah, my parents were always pretty chill about stuff, even after the separated, it's my grandparents that are complete nutters.

On my father's side, my grandparents have an unhealthy obsession with bloodlines, to the point where they told me that I'm more special than my cousins because I'm biologically related to them, and my cousins were adopted. Grandparents on my mother's side are very self centered, "give them an inch and they'll take a mile" as they say. I remember one story my mother told me where my grandmother had her over at her house moving furniture while my mother had a broken rib. Called her over for lunch and then casually went "Oh, and could you move this? and this? and this?"

They're also all very religious and utterly unable to accept fault when they're wrong.

 

Pro tip: if you REALLY get in the mood, but your ass is still sore, give it a break, it isn't worth it.
