It's absolutely fantastic! I've been voting for it in the labs since day one, and have been following it!!

Don't let the others get you down just because it's not their cup of tea. Honestly, most of the new toys BD has been coming out with for the past YEAR have not impressed me at all...but this one actually adds a new addition to my must have list! (The others being Nox, and Luka...who is retired :C)

 

Yar, I'm actually going to have a lot of fun with it's unique under-head bulge. Can't wait for the full release!
Well, the mid-upper shaft bulge in general. I love those!

 

I voted for it because it was so different from anything else BD has right now. Variety is the spice of life! And while I do like knots, there are plenty who don't that may try your toy.

I really hope the person making my other partial messages me today if they sent it out or not.

Of course I don't expect much considering I only have their word and no photo evidence that anything has been done aside from the original photo of the completed head saying 'For Sale' and me nabbing it and asking for it to be made into a partial.

So I don't know WHY I'm getting my hopes up that it's actually finished I mean. They quoted me various different dates it would be finished and sent out, said multiple times over the past few months that they would send me AT LEAST a few pictures showing what progress they've done, ect, ect.

Although why should I complain I mean...I know fursuits take time but the constant lying to and misquoting of dates (not to mention the complete shit communication) has been grinding my gears so I should probably just sit in my little corner and shut up...even though I asked for progress pictures mid January/Early February and now it's April and once again they're saying 'It's done! Will be shipped out this weekend' (which didn't happen) even though back in January they said it was done and would be shipped out the 5th which was clearly a lie (at least to me it seems) sooooo.

....*sighs and flops over* I'm disappointed. Maybe I should have said that I wanted the partial by the end of this week (if it really is finished) instead of just 'Is it done? I haven't heard anything from you in a while and you said you only need to sew on that one little bit of elastic three weeks ago'. I really wanted to wear him to the convention this weekend but if he isn't out by tomorrow, he won't be here in time.

It's so hard for me to be stern with people in general :X. When she messages me back if she has or not, I'll have to try my damndest to be when she messages me back. Cause im getting so sick and tired of this. I would have been fine if she said 'Oh it'll be a while but here's what is done/what the rest looks like' or SOMETHING like that but...nothing and it causes me such anxiety especially when she says she plans to send it out and i message 2-3 days later asking if she did and where the tracking number is and nothing x___x

 

I'd be going crazy at this point ><

You know that feeling when you see someone with a zealous point of view that you are pretty damn sure is disgustingly wrong but can't speak out against it for fear of condescension and ridicule due to said opinions being accepted as truth by society, so have to sit in suffocating frustration as groups of people trash what is essentially your lifestyle and beliefs, despite them not really harming anyone? Yeah.

This is why I have issues opening up to people.

Lots of things. Some of them I daresay most people here would also dislike me for if they knew.

 

Ugh... I do understand what you mean. Sometimes those opinions that differ from a rather established norm can be met with quite a bit of hostility... Lots of people like to do the knee-jerk option and just immediately resort to being abusive or even violent. It can really discourage discussion of these things.

If feeling silenced is getting you down, andyou truly want to civilly discuss an issue you have an opinion on (no matter how unpopular), feel free to share it with us on the forum (in an appropriate thread). I'm sure everyone here is capable of being civil and perhaps discussing it, even if we disagree.

 

Very much this. If you don't feel comfortable talking about it in an open thread you can always pm someone and talk privately. I'm always open if you'd like to talk, and I can pretty much guarantee that I wont be judging anyone for their views. I've got enough dirty laundry that I would be quite the hypocrite for doing so.

 

You can always tell me. Unless you're hurting children, I'm not going to be offended. And even if I am somehow, I won't share.

I have a lot of unpopular opinions because I'm a humanist, a realist, and scientifically minded. I would love to hear what makes you stand out

 

I am miffed.

To give some context before the story, I usually don't buy groceries based on brands. I buy stuff based on a price and weight comparison, with a few exceptions when that brand has been shown to be less than ideal.

So recently my sister and I went grocery shopping. I'll spare you most of the details and just say that she is utterly horrendous to shop with. She's very flighty and always wants to hurry up (and will actually leave me behind and just not carry shit home) so I usually have to do my calculations quick lest I be stuck carrying the entire load for the homeward forty minute walk. Sometimes I have to skip over things to make sure it's actually something we're there to get.

So, one of the things was some frozen breaded chicken. It was pretty much the last thing there and my sister was getting extremely impatient. She pointed out that one of the brands was having a 2 for 14$ deal, which for an 840 gram box on the Canadian dollar, is quite good. I hadn't bought the brand before, but it wasn't the walmart brand so I didn't really care at the time.

So now here I am, middle of the night, and I'm hungry. I want to make some food that's not too labour intensive, so I pick chicken and fries. I preheat the oven, put some fries on a pan, then go open up one of the chicken boxes. There are only 13 chicken strips. I know automatically that 13 strips cannot and does not equal 840 grams. Sure enough, there are two massive frozen packets of plum sauce in the bottom of the box. These packets were included in the total weight, which should be completely illegal in my opinion, since they don't state such on the box. They just say that the box has some plum sauce in it, not even how much.

I ended up working out that only 520 grams of the total weight is actually the chicken strips. That's 320 grams of plum sauce that will not be eaten. So really, we just got 1040 grams of chicken for 14$, which is actually the worst price by weight comparison out of everything they had at the time, if my memory is correct.

TL;DR a box of chicken included a fuck-ton of plum sauce into the total weight and I'm miffed.
