One reason I'm glad I'm Canadian. It's only illegal to upload stuff here, downloading is perfectly fine.

 

I'm going to sex my parrots. I REALLY hope my older one is female since her name is Nyla and I've had her for a year thinking she was a girl. I don't mind what the other is, since they are new and I haven't grown attached to a sex. Their name is Shazam so it won't particularly matter what sex.
One time I had a cute bunny. I named her Pearls, after the adorable girl in Ace Attorney. Well one day Pearls decided "she" wanted to mate with my hand and I felt "her" penis. Dx Since then she has been rehomed to a beautiful farm and renamed Big Mac. Still, it was sort of heart breaking that she wasn't female, though she always will be in my eyes.
I started watching Breaking Bad FINALLY and I'm in love! I'm also going to rewatch Wilfred

........... I think the actor that plays Wilfred is incredibly sexy but I feel bad because he's playing a dog lol. I really want to date an Australian!

Pretty sure I got the job at a local grocery store. The shift is literally the hours when I sleep lol, but it'll only be three days a week. Plus I need the money.

 

Anyone get into really long arguments in the youtube comment sections?

 

So, I'm taking this class in programming languages. Not in any one language: it's how to create your own programming language. It turns out that the basics aren't hard; a programming language is itself a program that turns text into computer instructions; if you know how to write any kind of basic transformer program, a programming language is the same thing only on a much bigger scale.

The class is not-for-credit, and nobody seems to take it seriously. Nobody except for two people. I thought I was doing awesome; I finished the assignment this week and turned it in and it did everything in the assignment, plus a few extra credits. And then this other guy turns in his version which is so much better than mine, with language extensions and invariants and all kinds of cool things I didn't even think of... Sigh. Sometimes imposter syndrome is really hard to fight.

It may be futile, but I feel like it ultimately makes your ability to debate better by some margin. I'm certainly a lot better at it thanks to youtube.

 

This friend of mine that has been with me since childhood told me today that he was going under the radar for the next month. "See you in exactly one month!". This made me realize that I rarely hang out with anyone else on a regular basis. Suddenly I feel very lonely. I can't say that I did before. There are two other friends that I meet somewhat regularly but with one of them it has been increasingly difficult with my work schedule and the fact that he lives kind of far away. The other one has recently gotten a girlfriend and I really hope that's the reason we hardly see each other anymore. Now that this first guy I was telling you about goes on a break from everything... I never realized how much I actually need them. Suddenly I feel very lonely.

I study with other people the way a snake studies a mouse. It's one of my weird things; I get along with people most of the time, but when it comes to code, I am ferocious, obsessive, and competitive. I never say "fuck it, it's good enough." It passes all the tests. It matches all the styles. It has all the comments.

That's why G's code irks me so. He has the same attitude (his code was fucking formatted in Knuth Literary Style!), and he's better than I am. But I view him as an opportunity to learn. A frustrating opportunity, but still.

 

I make sure to look up facts and get my argument straight before I present it. It gives the other side less ammunition. If all they can use to fire back is strawman arguments or other logical fallacies, I call it out. Besides, we're talking layman's debate skills, not professional level. I used to be terrible at arguing with people.

I've been playing a ton of WoW lately... A LOT OF WOW LATELY.
And uh... I've been playing on the RP server Argent Dawn as a Worgen Druid.
I'VE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED TO RP AGAIN IN MY LIFE.

 

I am bored. And I have the next couple days off (probably a week) because we finished building the thing at work. So yeah... that sucks. But I've got stuff I can do so it's not all bad
