The "Bad Mood" Thread

At least they still tell you how much is in a candy bar grams wise though. Look on an Aero bar, then another bar the same size. Massive difference in displayed weight. My problem with the chicken thing was that on a box of chicken with an advertised 840 grams, there was only 520 grams of chicken and 320 grams of plum sauce. 520 grams of chicken is literally just 13 chicken strips. 320 grams of plum sauce is more than a cup and a half (12 fluid oz). I don't know anyone that needs that much plum sauce for 13 strips, if they even want the damn stuff in the first place. Ketchup for me kthx.

And I actually kinda like the texture of Aero bars...

 

I feel ill.

For anyone that knows who Penn Jillette is, he recently went on a diet. I'm now heavier than he is, with a larger waist.

I really don't know what to do with myself any more.

Actually, that made me feel REALLY good. I was still imagining how he looked before losing the weight, and feeling fatter than that. I don't feel bad about it at all now that I see him. Thanks! :3

 

it's just what I do.

 

I'm actually in a super stellar mood from convention feels and being with so many fluff butts and having fluff butt bonding time but I talked to one of my fellow local furs and the convo went like this:

Him: So are you a fur? (to my friend who tagged a long)
S: No, I'm just his eyes for the moment! I was supposed to suit in his other one but it's not here yet.
Him: Aw man that sucks. How come it's not here yet?
*Explains everything that's gone on with the person and this whole thing, guys eyes go wide and jaw drops*
Him: Please for the love of god begin writing a beware. I don't want to see you out of your money and it's a SUPER fucking red flag that they haven't posted ANY progress pictures anywhere or have sent you any. Idc if you don't want to and it's only been 4 months, please do it.

So yup. Gonna begin writing up my beware to threaten them with because still no reply. I'll be messaging them on Monday (since I'll be gone most of tomorrow at the convention) asking wtf is going on and give a hint that I'm compiling a beware.

For those who remember my earlier gripes about my situation with Everest college and our lovely government, here's a follow up, because this shit just keeps getting better and better.

My class recently got an email from the ministry of education. We've been waiting to hear from them, because of our special case of being ineligible for a refund or continued education. So, they send us a form to fill out with our available options. What are those options you might ask?

1. Refund
2. Continued education

I swear these people leave their heads at home when they go to work in the morning.

 

If I remember right, LocoSaltInc over on FA made their own fursuit as a hobby....no clue if they're willing to make one for someone else as a commission, but I'd suggest looking into them just in case. Really nice, little silly, good art.

 

I work with people every day and most people seem to be in autopilot. It drives me up the wall.

That said at least you have the option of getting shit straightened it would seem, though the irony makes the situation questionable...perhaps there's some backpedalling going on. Hopefully you're able to correct this.

 

My class's situation is kind of specific, I doubt anyone's seen it before in the ministry. Essentially, we were already completely done with the program, our instructor was just helping us do a couple reviews for a national level certification exam that wasn't affiliated with the college while she finalized all the paperwork to get our diplomas printed. Unfortunately, government seized everything she needed to get those diplomas to us.

Whether or not we get anything straightened out depends entirely on if they're actually willing to listen to us over there. So far there hasn't been any luck, as evidenced by the form.

 

I checked out their FA and their suit is pretty cute :3~ I'm really holding out for this suit cause i fell in love with it the moment i saw it. that and my best friend likes to suit now (she discovered the wonders of being fluffy...what have i done) so if i can get the second partial, we can derp around together.

The person did message me and said they would get me a tracking number by today/tonight. Of course they said that last week so. If it's not here when I come home late tonight from the convention I'm going to get stern with them for sure at this point.

 

Well, if you explain that you had completed your program, and were just waiting for your diploma, they should understand that you wouldn't fall under either option. Just write a polite letter to those involved.

 

This has been going on for two and a half months. This is the third such form they've sent to us. Trust me, we've tried explaining it to them many times already.

 

Explain in person?

 

Tried twice. Once when they first held a conference after they first closed Everest, once a couple weeks later when they failed to address my class's unique circumstances. A few of my classmates have also tried talking to them, over the phone and in person. It really doesn't help when, as they've mentioned in the papers, they're of the opinion that they "made all the right moves and decisions in closing Everest the way we did".

 

One of my cats went missing :c I just hope that he comes back, and if he doesnt - that he at least is in a good place.
