What Is On Your Mind?

So I've been looking at apartments in my area more just to scope out what's available, and currently I've only got 4 on my list. And only 1 makes sense, because it's the only studio apartment I could find for fairly cheap while still having the stuff I want. Also 1 of them has an income restriction, even though it's ~530 a month for 665 sq feet, so really cheap for this area.

 

Sometimes I just don't understand people. I do not understand how something like the Kylie Jenner challenge can catch on.

For those unfamiliar, the Kylie Jenner challenge is something where young girls try to use anything at their disposal to make their lips swell up like balloons and make a pouty face, like this picture.
Usually this is done by using something like a bottle of a glass, sucking all the air out and allowing the suction to overfill the lips with blood. Given the structure of the lips, this very quickly leads to very painful bruising. Jenner herself (featured above) used a specialized pump that was actually created for this very purpose. Other people get some very different results...

 

Thankfully it will soon be forgotten as it's just a quick and stupid fad.

 

Mhm. From what I'm aware of, references are usually what makes or breaks it these days if you don't have work history, and even then they're often critical....and yet for many, they're the hardest thing to get. The only people I've got are family (not allowed), and people online who live in completely different states if not countries in some cases, so unless I suddenly have the resources and desire to move (again) to another state, I'm going to be a very tough choice. Hence why I'm trying to use my aptitude for computers and stories to try and get self employed income.

@Hybrid88 Technically yes, however the stresses of school have become quite high and it's causing me to freak out a lot and end up becoming snappy at people. That and I pushed myself way too hard at the gym and I feel like shit T.=.T

 

For anyone here who likes dbz abridged (or other abridged series of similarly good quality) I present to you, SAO abridged:

They've only got 6 episodes out at the moment, but they put effort into it and it shows.

For those who'd like some context before checking it out, Kirito is presented as an unbearable asshole with a sarcastic streak a mile long, completely lacking in social skills, and sees nothing wrong with using waves of cannon fodder to distract bosses as a legitimate strategy. Asuna has no idea how to open her menu.

 

I'm thinking of getting a custom guitar strap, and kinda want it to be MLP themed. Maybe the Flight to the Finish minimalistic poster here . Something to do with the Mane Six' CM's or Queen Chrysalis eyes in the dark.
Any ideas?

I already have a strap from them and it is obnoxiously comfortable. They have internal pick pockets and holsters (like the ones you put on mics stand) in the adjustable part of the strap. Materials are pretty good and they are Spanish, I can actually feel proud about something made in Spain XDDDDD

I watched a fair amount of the original Sword Art Online, but I have no clue what an "Abridged" series is. Also, I've unfortunately forgotten the names f the characters, so I cannot for the life of me remember who Kirito was, and I only have the faintest memory of the role Asuna served in SAO.

 

Man, it's been a really tough work week... Fell asleep at 7pm last night, and managed to get 11 hours of sleep!

 

I'm finding that no matter how much sleep I get, I wake up tired anyway.

 

Maybe you need a better bed.

So it's a parody. Sometimes I like parody, sometimes I don't. I don't think I feel like watching a parody of SAO. ಠ_ಠ

Oddly, I generally didn't sleep well back at the old house on my mattress and wooden bedframe, but coming here, I slept great on a COT, and now that it's ripped, I'm still sleeping well on the floor with my sleeping bag spread out under me and a pillow. On the other hand, the house is quiet and clean, there aren't constant crazy drivers only a block or two away from my house, or screaming and fights.

Could be the place you're living, or life stress that you're going through.

 

Does anybody know any Good charities that helps protect the rainforest? I'm looking around a bit and I thought maybe there's someone here who can help me out.
