went to the opening for the senior graduating class art show. talked to some interesting artists, saw some cool stuff, also saw plenty of hipsters that never even took their eyes off their phones and didn't even look at he art but kept saying how "inspirational and non-objective" it all was. fucking hipsters

A car conveniently wrapped itself around a telephone pole, just off the main drag. Crews are working late into the night and shut off power around 11:30, turning the entire business section dark, without warning anybody. So we closed the store with flashlights and cell phones. Home early! Didn't get to punch out, drop any money, or anything. Can't say what my manager was able to do by the end of the night. I just barely managed to hand wash the dishes I was able to find in the dark, most of the emergency lights didn't work.
