    Oh, man, I'm jealous now!

My family has decided to watch The Sound of Music. I'd forgotten that it's three hours long.

Looks like my entertainment for the next couple of weeks is all sorted. Love me some old school war movies. Think I'll start with the Aussie classic Breaker Morant. IMG_20150426_134915.jpg

Bikes don't cost huge insurance payments. Legs don't cost huge insurance payments. The only gas you need to put in the tank is the food you eat.

Public Transit is also good, but that is nonexistant in Houston because Oil Companies. Few years ago, proposal to add electric public trains were added. City Politicians were likely bought by the oil companies in Houston, as despite the fact it would cut road rage/motor accident rates, reduce congestion/travel times, and slow down air and noise pollution. The stated reason? "Not enough room or resources to lay the tracks." Not enough room my ass, you won't need all these bloody highways if you replace just TWO LANES EACH with tracks....now they're talking about rebuilding some of the highways and adding in more that would go under the surface...not a good idea when we flood often whenever it rains hard, which it quite a bit this time of year.

Dallas has the DART though, and now that I am up near there/here, I'll be getting to use it from time to time when ever I go into city. Is it bad that I LOVE riding on those things, both the trains and the buses, ESPECIALLY when it starts getting dark? <3

Again, with Houston.....I can attest to "Metropolitan Expansion Phenomena".

My mom and brother have that issue. It or whatever causes the issue is apparently not present when the Tomatoes are green, nor after the tomatoes are sufficiently roasted or cooked down. Fried Green Tomatoes are more of a southern thing, but I'll definitely reccommend trying them at least once if done right.

I already have a bridge too far. The best part of this box set is that I don't own any of them yet. But I did study Breaker Morant in school, so I know it back to front.

Not freezing digits off in the winter is priceless (in 2014 had a week where our high was a negative number, windchills hitting -40F, and I went to work those days). I like my car and the freedom in driving. I'm not complaining about the insurance, it's a price I pay to drive the car I want when I want, and it's not out of my range. It's just a considerable sum of money to throw down at a time and worth mention.

    Ohhhh my cows.

Friend came over and kept me company while I worked for a while. Got some things marked off the list but not everything I made. That's okay at least.
We went over to BWW after. Not a fan of the server we got...guy is doing his job half the time and not the other half, keeps trying to convince us to change our order or order more, another lady came and threw our food onto the table. It was just weird. Not as bad as last time we went to the other one though, server ignored me - tried to walk away after the friend ordered but before I did - then she...tried to get us to split the bill? I dunno. It was strange. Get that kind of thing a lot though.

Will add instead of double posting.
Realized that the Facebook messenger mobile app thing holds onto some large amount of shared photos, so was going through them. Found one from the time I made a little dude in Sims3 that looks just like above mentioned friend. Gave him his personality flaws and one good thing. Character just shat success when he wasn't doing this:

Funny enough, I think it was pretty accurate.

Just bought a medium Tucker and small Nox from @Sheep

Now if they can just be magically teleported here I'd be a very happy boy. But alas I'll have to wait for international shipping :(

Yay international shipping! It's like regular shipping but has more red tape and questions!

Be careful. There are plenty of cheap ones around, but the quality can be very poor. There's a lot coming from China etc with ply wood bases that easily warp. I know someone who was importing them and he had entire shipping containers that were full of crap tables.

Slate is expensive and a prick to move, but as long as you don't crack it it'll be level. Damn, now I want a table again! Who needs a kitchen table?

The main thing is the time. Australia is pretty good because we import just about everything. If it's under $1000 there's no duties or taxes, and I've only ever had one package opened by customs. Thankfully it wasn't a BD parcel, it was a motorcycle visor. I think it was the lack of weight that got their attention.

    Thanks for advise ;)
Even though I doubt I can actually import something that big without taxes gapping my ass XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I'll probably have to buy from an importer or manufacturer settled around here. Living in an island is kind of a problem XDD

I would look for a good condition second hand table, that way you can assess the quality before you commit. plus, like everything these days they made them better bsck in the day.

Best table I've ever played on is about 80 years old, weighs enough that 4 guys can't even lift a corner and is super smooth.

It was just a box with a clear plastic visor. Came from sth Korea so maybe thats why they got sus. I wouldn't have realised they'd opened it if not for the customs flyer inside the box telling me they had opened it.

So last night's concert was amazing, managed to score 2 different guitar picks, one from one of the guitarists of the band called Finch, and one from the bassist of Yellowcard <3
The entire concert was amazing especially Yellowcard, they sounded fantastic and the crowd was awesome :D
I'm pretty sure I can't speak and I'm tired as hell, but damn it was so worth it <3
