If you got an A you got it through work. Sometimes not always class work.

 

cram as much extra credit as you can at the start of the sememster and make sure to do all the work most people would normally blow off for being to pointless/boring to an A level. since the grade is cumulative you want to stack it as high as you can, so that even if you fuck up later in the semester it doesn't affect your grade much if at all. I managed to pass my chemistry class in highschool with a 115% by cramming in as much extra credit as possible at the beginning of the semester with really easy assignments so that when I got sick and missed an exam I still passed at over 100%

Either way, I've always looked down on our Great Fair And Wonderful US Government with the exception of a few rare individuals, but I can't believe they're actually pulling that shit on you! Telling you legally you have to be out of the country in a certain timeframe but then later telling you they won't give you the documents you need to lawfully do so until over a MONTH after they supposedly want you gone? I would have thrown Communism in there, except I truly believe in the original Communist Theory by Carl Marx.......sadly I don't believe in people to uphold that in any group larger than a family household or an intentional community of likeminded individuals willing to work together and contribute.

 

this is once again the expectation vs. reality conundrum
expectation: everyone gets the same pay/treatment/status/etc.
reality: someone crafty enough does the exact opposite and silences any opposition while getting their idiot followers to believe they stand for the original ideals and demonize those that don't.

true equality comes down to equality in law and process, and even those won't ever be perfect. trying to change laws to make it where you can't even be criticized is unrealistic and stupid, one reason I've distanced myself from the LGBTQ+-XYZ movement because I want to be able to marry my boyfriend someday, and unfortunately everyone else's crazy is jeopardizing that

Haha yeah! I live in the good 'ol USA. The passport process has just been a whole load of bull and I hope it gets fixed soon. I literally can't miss my mate's military graduation AND/OR his parents' 25th wedding anniversary. It's pretty much the whole reason I'm forcing myself to fly to go over there. x_x I'm scared shitless to fly but I want to be there for them. :<

I've tried E-mailing them before and after I called them, but both times I've gotten bullshit answers. The first time I got: "Due to security reasons we cannot disclose anything over E-mail: please call us." Which was stupid because all I asked for was the status of my application (as in when the Hell will it be done)?". After that, I asked for them to just give me a straight up answer on why the Hell my application is going to take another 4-6 weeks, or if that is even true. Then I was told: "Sorry our website is down for maintenance and update. If you would like information regarding your passport please call us."

Showered earlier, and then Dad showed up and said I should leave for a few hours since the grandma is drinking/prone to being on her warpath again. So despite feeling like absolute garbage, went out, got coffee, drove around, got food with friend, flopped around at his place for a while. Back again. Nothing's damaged, thankfully.

Trying to clip a song down to a single line where the music cuts out completely until the line is finished, for parody usage in YT videos as a sound effect, and perhaps as an SL gesture too....I know I can achieve the trimming accuracy in FL Studio 11 Producer, which I have full and purchased a la last year's birthday, but apparently I need to convert the .mp3 to a .midi to import and mess around with it.....not the fricking time for jokes, Google.

Lando Calrissian isn't that young, Han Solo isn't that old, R2's design is almost completely different, Luke is missing, Leia never wore anything like that nor had reason to, and 3PO is missing.


...if they ARE serious and that's a reboot.....I'm all for a leading female actor so long as she's done in a way that doesn't paint her as weak, but overall, I'm seeing even more outrage from a large number of Star Wars fans out there who don't like people suddenly buying up their favorite franchise, denouncing all their lore for not being a part of the movies, letting an already loathed publisher/developer butcher their favorite game series from the franchise, and probably won't be happy at all with them remaking characters from the original movies.

Also going to guess this means either they dropped plans for Episode VII in favor of reboots, or they're trying to do two movies at once. Neither sounds very bright at all to me.

(main reason I love Revenge of the Fallen but hate Dark of the Moon? Mikaela Banes, you know, the Hispanic Supporting Female played by Megan Fox who happened to be a badass mechanic who could fend for herself and even saved the main guy more than once? She got replaced by Carly Spencer (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) in the latter film with the inbetween-the-films explanation that Mikaela dumped him, while Carly turned out to be your movie stereotype, helpless and clueless, dumb blonde female....only she wasn't blonde)

 

....... That isn't Lando, R2, or Leia. Those are all new characters.
