I liked it too. But you know, I'll probably it ever existed in a few years. There are better shows FOX has cancelled. Like The Good Guys, or Almost Human.

    I miss my toys ; o ;
I honestly can't remember how long its been since I've last used them.
Every since my sister moved back in I can count on one hand how many times ive been alone in this house on one hand.
Yea I could always sneak one into the shower with me, but I want QUALITY, toy time. Lots of foreplay, teasing all my little hot spots until I just can't hold back.

Nothing wrong with having exclusively online friends. I might just be jaded or something because I moved around almost every year as a kid, but I've found I have had more lasting relationships with people I met online than people I met offline. I might see and talk to people I know offline once every year or two, but I talk to my online friends every other day.

This might just be my perspective and I very well could be the weird one, but to me it doesn't particularly matter if a friend is next door or ten thousand miles away.

It's not your fault. You were just trying to help.

    Not really.

I try to subscribe to that way of looking at things, but I always end up just crying that I don't have real friends.

If anyone hasn't noticed I haven't been in the greatest of moods lately. Lot of psychological stuff going on in my head I need to figure out how to get over. School isn't helping either. Too much stress plus the guy at work almost gave me a panic attack cuz I kept thinking about what happened to me when I was little and wanting to not have that ever happen again..

I feel like some of my issues stem from that point in my life, but I digress.

I'm sorry to hear that Jazzi :<. I have every bit of faith that you'll continue to make progress on getting past whatever happened.

I guess part of my thing is I don't bother thinking of it as two different kinds of friends, online and offline, IRL and otherwise, that kind of thing. There's friends, and there are acquaintances. I was a lot happier with myself when I decided that there isn't a difference between online and offline friends other than the distance.

On the subject of friends, online and off.

I don't think humans are really designed to handle being alone. We're social things. While online interaction is a nice stop-gap, in the end it's just a computer screen, and perhaps a microphone. While it's *much* better than nothing, most people aren't going to be satisfied with having 0 face to face interaction indefinitely.

If you are satisfied with online only, that's fine. I was for a long while. Online interaction is a great *enhancement* to your social life. The people I've met at Bad Dragon, and here, have changed me for the better. Ya'll just can't be a complete replacement.

You know, unless we started meeting up, which some of you do already :3.

I was the same, and did the same (tried to be tough, and pretend everything was fine) at your age. It lead to me dreading any moment where I wasn't working or otherwise mentally occupied. I'd look around and realize I had nobody close to me. No bonds. No emotional ties. It sucked. So I've spent the better part of a year and a half actually trying to connect with people, and it's actually paid off somewhat. A few people here know me rather intimately, and I know them. And while it's taken a lot of bravery on my part: I even have plans to meet a few of you (platonically in all but one case) this summer!

I really hope things turn around for you, Murphy. I've been there (and am still kind of there. There's no guarantee these meetings will go well.)

So how did you go about connecting with people? I find that difficult if not totally impossible.

old family member: "can you fix my computer?"
    me: I'll try
them: "it keeps giving this error message whenever I try to do X, Y, and Z on internet explorer"
me: "oh... well there's your problem"
    them: "what?"
me: "internet explorer is complete shit" *googles issue* "yeah, all these other people are having the exact same issue, the easiest fix is to just use anything else but internet explorer" *opens chrome, goes to the page they were on, downloads file no problem and opens it for them to read* "yeah, it's a problem with internet explorer, this will work for you and it has some more features that make it easier to use the things you usually use"
them: "oh... okay" *sits down, closes chrome AND THE THING THEY FUCKING BOTHERED ME TO GET FOR THEM AND IMMEDIATELY OPEN INTERNET EXPLORER AGAIN AND TRY TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN* "what the fuck! it's not working!"
that's when i left the room. for context this is a person who OPENS AN ENTIRE NEW FUCKING WINDOW TO VIEW ANOTHER PAGE INSTEAD OF JUST USING TABS AND THEN BITCHES ABOUT HAVING TO SWITCH BACK AND FORTH TO VIEW IT

they did take a computer course... back when dial up was the fastest internet connection. they couldn't handle a class like that. just explaining to them how to highlight something, right click and then print is almost too much for them and they need to write down every step and file it away for future reference
