I can appreciate relating one thing to another at times, but yeah that's just a funny statement. Hate that feeling. Worse, a hole in the sock over one of the toes. Especially when it slips and then you've got one toe just kinda hanging out.
They don't make socks to handle my LONG MONKEY TOES. Bastards!


Found a bag filled with .9mm mechanical pencils. Had some arguments with art friends in high school over them. They were trying to get itty bitty details in their work and I decided to go the other way. Fat pencils and graphite sticks, best stuff.

A lizard would be more fun, probably.

maybe getting a sock size up could help with the monkey toes ?

Don't agree thin pencils are neccsarially better either. Just depends on the effect you're going for.

All of our arguments were pretty silly to begin with and it really does come down to preference and goal, but art friends were all reaching for a certain aesthetic with the tiny points so it was 'strange' to do otherwise. Have a collection of Micron pens...back then there was always a search for the tiniest ones at .2mm (also the arguments from people thinking it was .005mm...). Still use the .5mm or .45mm ones for writing labels...can't quite stabilize the hands enough to write legibly with ball-point pens.
Ruined other drawing and my jeans by dropping a dollop of paint on them. Boo. Probably time for bed anyway.
