@BorisLover she's the kinda girl who has a.bf every other month or something. She brought over the guy sjw was sweet on and they also stayed in the hotel when I thought they were gunna leave right away lmao. She was just being a pain and wanting to hang put with the people she met and I wanted to go home but I was glass I stayed with him.

@Exeter I know the feeling. We have lakefront property that my great grandpa bought in the 1950's. To me it is a great place to be and I hope to keep it for me and my siblings and cousins when it comes time for me to take on the responsibility of up keeping it. That is one part of my childhood that will not die. It means too much to me.

 

Last night I just felt so sad that I literally drank myself to sleep...

 

Damn inconvenient this injury!

I have to keep all weight off of my leg and keep it elevated as much as possible.
Then there is this bloody 'old people' walker, I have to use to get around the house. Many of the doors in the house are narrow, and I have to go sideways through them, including the bathroom. :/

Mo had to finish moving the last of my belongings yesterday, and with a little help from friends, got it all done. I owe him so much for this and love him dearly (even if he is sore and a bit grumpy from all the work).

I fell of my bike, taking a corner WAY too fast. My rear tire slipped out from under me, an my foot was trapped in the toe clip. So, since I was unable to catch my fall with my foot, I broke my ankle instead. In other words, I broke off that bit of bone that sticks out from the inside of your ankle (the Tibia).
I had surgery for a plate an two screws.

Yeah, I am. Not too much pain, unless i bump it. And some times at night it gets sore, but I have oxycodone for that, luckily I don't need much. It's just that so many things are impossible to do, until I'm allowed to put weight on it (including work......sigh)

I have made it to Denmark safely, but I was quite scared out of my pants. The landing in Denmark made me "meep" outloud, because I thought we missed the runway when landing LOL A really nice Danish gentleman grabbed my hand and held it. He was pretty sweet. He just got back from visiting his sweetheart in Maine! I was totally surprised.

I HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL.

the place I used to work has gone completely to shit in the last month since they fired the woman who was acting manager for the store move/re-opening and hired a nice but completely unprepared younger guy to be the manager since corporate wants the store to "appeal to a younger customer base", it also may be because the new regional manager that just got promoted about a month and a half ago is a vindictive spiteful bitch that's been firing off most of the female managers throughout the company that are near her pay level, she's also been completely cutting people's hours to 0 for a whole week if they don't meet a quota every week for customer store credit card applications. needless to say I'm glad to be out of there

 

You know, after I got a legit job I thought life would get easier... not more complicated.
A couple months ago I signed up to be webcam model for a studio. It worked out pretty well, I can work from home or the studio or both and get pretty good pay. Not 6 figures, but definitely a livable wage.
While my... I guess you'd call him my "manager" had my sign a contract and took the pictures for the site (I have copies). But he did not actual own the studio and the business... he implied that he did. Actually he implied he owned everything. Actually another person owned the actual studios (call her J).
Anyway my manager and J has a disagreement of how things were being done (legal reasons), had a falling out and he runs off with check that the streaming service sends for the models. Since J owns the studio she receives the check and pays the models. But as my manager had an admin account he had access the change all documents and ... well, that's just say he was being a dickhead and screwed things up.

Now, I was still getting paid... from him. I have to as I already put in the work, it's illegal to hold my wages and doesn't matter how well or poor I perform. So no problem, I'm getting my checks. But I don't like him... there are few things that raised a few red flags. So I decided to have him release me and work for J. She is starting a new company, with more reputable partners, be more involved with the business. Also she has all the required paperwork to prove it as a business. The manager did not... he only had DBA and didn't even have EIN (not sure if that is required with a studio).
So I asked him to release me and he did and sent me a confirmation e-mail.... and preventing me from being hired by another studio for 6 months.
...wait, what?
Like I said, admin account. He has control over my account... and I can't sign up on there with a "current" account still active... but no access too. So it's possible for him to keep it active so I can never sign up again to start a new account. And this us the streaming service the J is using as well.

I do not believe what I signed was an exclusive contract. There was no mention of a non-compete clause in it or anything. Do you think he can legally stop me? He claims I cannot sign up the streaming service or any studio that uses the service. He does not OWN the service... but has hold of me account on there. I am not the only model he's done this with and going to have a meeting with J and the other partners (1 of which is another model). This might be filed under loss-of-wages if he stops me from working.

I'd check the contract over since they usually hide non-compete clauses in other sections or inside of user terms and agreements. if there is no non-compete clause anywhere in it then he can't prevent it. if there is one, you can fight it, which most courts would rule that 6 months isn't excessive and you'd lose, or you could break the non-compete clause but probably have to pay liquidated damages/legal fees. if he did alter the contract to contain a non-compete clause after it was signed, that's illegal as hell, but trying to prove it would be nearly impossible
