Understandable. I'm in a similar camp (wanting to be light, and strong. Lithe.)
I'd look at your new-found development as a positive, and simply spend some time on the areas you feel are lacking. Everyone knows I'm a fitness enthusiast though .
Just out of curiosity: Would you prefer your pre-construction body, or your current one with the addition of slightly more developed chest, abdominals, and calves? I take it you prefer pre-construction over current.
