How do I add color?

 

Well, sorry if you feel offended, but I'm gonna use my color anyways. I've grew used to it lol And I see it as a bit of something making me me. No other color suits me more than this one.

 

It's weird because it's not like most forums, which throw up [color][/color] thingies. You have to highlight and then select a color.

 

If you click on the first "A" to the right of the underline button, you can click on it before typing and get whichever color you choose, without having to highlight

 

Actually you can still type bbc code. That's how I put in my color.

 

Tinker tinker. Hey, it worked. AND it changed the color even when I started editing it without having to type into the brackets. Neat.

 

Aww, that's a shame, I was hoping to play the "see what colors the BBC codes recognize" game.

 

I guess this forum alternative is decent.

 

Apparently, this is listed as "Medium Spring Green" where I got it. :3 Matching my Avi's goggles and nickname color is hard.

Was tinkering about changing up my avater, but thought it would be better for now to keep the old one.

Edit: This theme/board is swaaankyy! feels so smooth, things zooming in and out of place, pop-ups slinding up and down. Sweet!

That aside, I hereby decree Lay's Wasabi Ginger Kettle Chips the best damn chip I ever ate since the Flaming Hot Lay's.

 

I wonder, IF they are going to keep the "old" forum, albeit nuked-clean or lightly cleaned-up. Do we want to move back? (how settled in are we around here?)

 

Depends on the atmosphere I guess. I wouldn't mind going back and forth for a while, see how things play out. This could be a good backup in case the old place becomes too restrictive.

 

I'm a little bit nervous that they'll keep the forums but make them strictly BD related if they keep the forums up at all. I'm betting they'll just lock down most of the boards to a read only mode and just keep up the reviews, labs, and other solely BD related boards for posting on. Then again, I'm not really holding my breath. The way they are so quick to jump on anyone talking bad about them makes me think a community like this run by people who aren't BD staff is a much better option than going back to the old forums, especially after all of this shit hitting the fan.

 

I must say that Doc's answer to Varka seemed the stark reality. It feels just like a slap in the face.

 

Doc's answer is exactly how I feel as well. There is no way they didn't know how much the forums meant to us. And if they somehow didn't, well gee, it feels great to so heartlessly be taken for granted.

 

I suppose if the forums are going down, might as well be direct and say "Your PR is fucked".
