in-n-out is the master burger place (lol, puns) I wish we'd get one in my town. the closest one is like 80 miles away so I made sure to go there today since it was on the way to harbor freight. those animal style fries...

 

Pleased to find that my shiny Shaymin and Manaphy went through Pokemon Bank without any issues, meaning they're effectively legitimate. They still might have been hacked originally, but the system allowed them into Generation 6 and allowed them to be traded under the impression that they are legitimate and came from a Generation 4 game. I was worries when I got them in a trade, but not anymore. I still need a Diancie though... The only Pokemon I don't have....

 

So my parents have been on vacation for the past 3 weeks and come back tomorrow. It was a good 3 weeks. I truly enjoyed it, but sadly it has come to an end.

 

But when will my Nox get here? Whine, whine, whine.

Given that I live in Washington State, I picked up something very interesting today: THC infused coconut massage oil. I wonder what it'll do as a lubricant.

 

I'm going to go buy new body pillows at 1AM because I'm convinced the fluffy ones are a huge part of my sleeping problem. So tired of this.

Always liked that the Meijer is 24/7. Best time to shop is when there isn't a giant crowd of middle-aged white women shoving their thousand coupons and entitlement into everyone's faces. Of course this means I also don't get asked questions by them. Work in retail once and forever will be mistaken as an employee in every store.

 

So you know how the TSA has been getting more and more invasive as time goes on? Weelll as it turns out, they only find hidden weapons on about 5 out of 95% of people carrying them. All that hubbub and they have a 5% success rate.

They sent in 70 undercover officers, all with hidden weapons ranging from a small knife to a fake bomb. 67 made it through unhindered. The bomb made it through.

 

I saw this. To be entirely honest though, I wouldn't rule out a stitch up to provide an excuse for even more invasive "security" laws.

 

I'm on the east coast, so no In n Out for me. I've had it before though. I didn't think it was THAT special. Out here we have Five Guys, which is SOOOO GOOD.

But the BEST fast food burger I've ever had goes to Tasty Burger up in Boston. oh my god......

I don't like the candy, so I kinda forgot it was a thing.

 

Personally, I've had to train myself just the opposite. I would get angry too easily and resort to physical violence.

 

Oh speaking of retail. I was in Walmart the other day looking for a vra as I didn't have a clean one to wear. I was wearing my uniform for work that day. Its a yellow shirt that says Pit Crew on the back and had my name tag on. Apparently I looked like a Walmart employee as I was approached BT a man while looming for a clear check put lane.

It was awkward. Like do I look like a Walmart employee?

 

That happens too often to me when I go to Target...

 

Just remembered that, yesterday, the tattoo shop owner saw me and said, lit: For the love of God, you're transparent white.
I know, I should go out every once in a while but who cares XDDDD

 

Oh god. The coupons. There's always a huge pack of those women that start showing up around 8am. Lord help you if it's a Saturday and there's a big sale going on. We also get a whole lot of older men, like 70+. Some days I can hardly get anything put on the shelf because customers are asking me where things are or telling me the stuff they want is out and then I have to either go get it or find someone who knows where we store it and if we even still have any. There's kind of a cosmic rule: if you have the item the customer wants, the box for it is guaranteed to be on the bottom of the stacked cart.

 

I love hamburgers. Love them. Almost as much as I do goat towers.

My favorite place is Fatburger but I wish there was more of those around. Each one is like a 15-20 minute drive for me so I usually settle for A&W. Unfortunately there's not a single INO where I am so I can't compare. Boston Pizza was my go to place at one point but they phased out my favorite burger a year or so ago. Some greasy spoon restaurants can make some kick ass burgers too but that's hit or miss.

Speaking of which why are hamburgers so damn expensive? Mcdirt is like $8 for a meal when it has no right to be. A&W is about the same if not more but at least the food is better. Fatburger is like $15 and you get a shitload of food and it's actually satisfying.

I just woke up and am working on my coffee. I saw this post. I haven't eaten yet, but I'm super hungry. 11:00 AM is still 3 hours away.

Why. Me.

 

I get shit for looking so pale, but apart from living in England where we get about 2 weeks of sun a year, I honestly just really like pale skin. Apparently that's not very common in places like the US and central Europe?

 

Getting irritated with people at work.. .argh

 

Seems we're obsessed with tans. Going so far as to sit under skin-cancer inducing lamps to get one. I actually like pale skin over tan. Kind of neutral on them, visually, but the fact that tans are usually the result of excessive sun exposure pushes pale into the lead.

 

I regret having those pancakes.... xP

 

Is it just me or does Burger King food feel really bad for you while you are eating it?
