For this, I will at last have reason to buy a PS4.
    So excited about it!

So, curious what all the hullaballoo was about, I bought Fallout 3 today. I'm... not that impressed. I'm mostly an FPS sort of guy; I loved the entire Bioshock series, all of Halo, Half-Life, Doom, and Quake. I could tolerate Rage, but the actual storyline was underwhelming. I loved the Star Wars: Dark Forces trilogy, but found The Force Unleashed to be, um, forced. I hated Gears of War, enjoyed GTA 3 but not so much the sequels.

Does Fallout 3 get better? I'm just getting to the point where I'm about to leave the bunker...

If you haven't left the vault you haven't seen over 99% of the game. There are 100+ unique locations, nearly countless side missions, so many ways to just dump ridiculous amounts of time. The vault is just the tutorial for how to walk really, all the fun stuff is outside.

This. Also, IMHO Fallout New Vegas is better than 3. And Fallout 1&2 are good too, despite old graphics.

What they said, though keep in mind the game might not be for you. I like it... kinda. Not as much as elder scrolls (which is similar with a different theme.)

Then again, between Oblivion, FFXI, and Skyrim, I might have been tired of open world games by the time I reached Fallout.

It *is* a solid game, if the genre and setting appeals to you.

To be honest, I'm not a Fallout fan either. Such a geek for Oblivion though.

I could only tolerate Fallout 3 with mods. If it weren't for those, I wouldn't have even touched it. I've been playing the same character for just about 4 years (on and off) now, and I've still got about 30-40% of the game left.

I'll play Fallout 3 here and there, though I overall prefer the theme of Skyrim and Oblivion. FYI, a friend of mine who's heavy on Fallout 3 and NV, has apparently found a mod called "Fallout: A Tale Of Two Wastelands" that links the two games together somehow, while being compatible with pretty much every Fallout 3 and NV mod, provided you install them AFTER ToTW.

Also, unless you're wearing full on armor, never underestimate the sneakybeaky in a realism modded Skyrim. You'll wind up frozen in a cave with only a single arrow in the head to your name~

So, I made a sort of pet project for myself in WoW. Rolled a new Worgen Druid and my goal is to get him as close to 100 as possible... without ever even getting bit. There are no mobs to grind and no resources I can gather. All I have access to is the mailbox and the five pet battle dailies. When I get a 300% xp potion, this will go a lot faster. Pretty jazzed at the idea of what is basically a human druid casting all the healing spells. XD Sadly, I can't queue for BGs or dungeons due to phasing.

I'm curious how long that's going to take XD. I have no idea how much those pet dailies give.

@Wolfcat Without the xp potion, it was about 1 2/3 level per day. With the potion, I get about 2 1/2 levels per day. So... with the potion buff on, a bit over a month (assuming a steady xp rate.) That's actually better than I thought. Hadn't mathed it before. XD

I got the teleport: Moonglade spell today. I'm kind of afraid to try and use it in case it somehow knocks off my buff.

I am not sure if it would or not. Do buffs usually get removed when teleporting?
Really new to WoW here, so I wouldn't know.

Edit: My own video game news: I am regularly being called a hacker in CS: GO XD. Not even that great at the game yet!

I'm excited about the new Lego game. An infinite box of Lego is a very dangerous proposition, and I am prepared to live my life on the edge.

    Fear my Hetzer! >:U
.....I'd post a link to said Hetzer and one of my greater moments in it, but Wargaming insisted on always having replays encoded in .wotreply so only their client can read it, and then after the 0.8.? Update, all older replays became unreadable unless you had the foresight to save an older client (like I did).....so while I can show it off to anyone who can look at my screen, I don't have anything to screen record videos with to post a video of it.....because license monies. -_-

Although not a video game, I'm super excited about the shadow run core rulebook I picked up! Gonna hopefully be a game master for my group in the fall! If I can figure out this weird weird system xD
