    I think it's supposed to be vanilla-esque.

I just need more material for my imagination. All I've got is your strong arms to dwell on at this point :3

Weird, even knowing that vanilla is definitely not a taste I would use to describe it.

I feel the same about a lot of cream sodas. The only one I had that actually tasted like vanilla and was genuinely good was a root beer from...somewhere. Don't remember. Otherwise they're just kind of gross. Had a blue something or other once and ugh, never again.

I'm a fan of how damn tired I was all day, only to be awake and full of anxious feels and thoughts of getting everything done now. Of course, the smell when I walked in the house a little bit ago was shocking. Like sweaty dogs and poop. It's hot and humid and if there's dog poop somewhere in the living room it's really not on me to find it since I am never in there. Actually freaked me out because it's similar to but not as bad as the time one of our previous adoptions (saves, really, we adopt 'em from a shelter) was getting close to the end of his long life. We picked out the GSD from the shelter after a mourning period. Goofy thing. Anyway, my house smells like his stinky face.

Well my mom slept in past the time she should have gotten up if we were going whale watching, not that I'm complaining, there are many places and time to watch whales on the east coast. Today we're setting off for my aunt's house in Sept-Iles which is barely in civilized Canada, it's in the subarctic. People don't really how much of this country is unpopulated.

Pretty much anything not near the US border is a frozen wasteland, right?

On a related note, I found a pretty accurate map of Australia.

The next time you lay down in bed, I want you to look at this picture, and as you drift away from consciousness, imagine that I'm right there, straddled over you like some feral beast ready to devour you.

Just got back from the lake with my coworker, and man was that fun, got to swim in the lake and it was absolutely beautiful :D
Sadly didn't catch any fish but we saw a pretty massive sized blue-gill, never caught it though >.<

I got schooled on the meaning of family for the thousandth time today. Only difference was, for the first time in my life, it clicked in my head. They said, "Family's who you choose, not who you're stuck with."

My parents left the country together with the USB-cable for the camera. Now I can't upload my drawings. The waiting game is on.

While Mo and I's housemate is out of town over the weekend, I was put in charge of watering the plants in the back yard............
OMG! We have grapes! DSCN0273.JPG They are not very big, most not much bigger than peas, but they are tasty!
And a handful of apples too! DSCN0269.JPG Though some have fallen as well DSCN0270.JPG :(
Sorry to say, the oranges didn't take. I'm thinking because one tree bloomed much earlier than the one that had the most blooms (even with the flurry of bee activity we had). Oh well, maybe next year. The oranges from last year were really good, and we had a dozen of them.

That reminds me, we've got a ton of fruit growing in our yard right now. We have one or two lemons, about five each of grapefruits and mangoes, and our starfruit tree is covered in flowers. Last year it gave us over 100 starfruit, all delicious, and it went until November. I'm very excited for this year's harvest <3

Unfortunately, the collary, "Home is where, when you have no place left to go, they're the ones who'll take you in," often does not intersect with the venn diagram of "Family whom you chose."
