What Is On Your Mind?

The point is that they don't understand any of the science. They think "dick = guy", "vagina = girl" and that's the be all and end all. The fact is that initial biological education in the subject is incredibly watered down and simplified because it was believed to be too complex for children to understand. That's why actual depth of education on the issues is largely reserved for college/university level of education. Unfortunately, the simplified version has become so literal an ingrained that that's all people largely know and believe. For example, chromosomes basically mean jack shit post-gestation, but people still try to use them to "prove" biological traits. Hell, most people don't even know that XY and XX aren't the only chromosome combinations. There's so much of the subject left of out of mainstream education, so the people arguing and picking on trans people all the time are doing so with child-level knowledge, but also refuse to believe any different regardless of who tells them, even the scientists who have studied this field for decades.

It's the result of a lazy, deficient and patronizing education system combined with the pig ignorance and stubbornness of (in my experience, usually masculine) egotism.

I don't know, maybe I'm just trying to find excuses for my own beliefs.

 

I think the main reason trans people have a hard time with others is that the others can't comprehend what the trans person is trying to do. They are masculine and have the male parts then why do they want to be a woman. There simple mentality of something with both genders surely can't exist. So they just put them in the category that closes matches.

I have a trans that works at a little pet store booth in my home town. At first I was like confused by why she did it, especially at such a late age in life. But after the initial oooh shock factor of seeing my first trans in rl. I just treat her as she obviously wants to be treated. A woman!

I think trans tend to get a lot of flack from the female sex as well all because they mainly feel threatened by them. Cause damn some trans men look darn sexy and from my observing experience, if a female is used to getting all the attention then someone else comes on the scene and she's not number one anymore. Then she'll go on the war path to eliminate the threat.

But that's how I see things in life. I'll except everything in life until views or opinions are forced upon me and they'll expect me to submit to it.

As long as people aren't doing any harm to others with their views or choices let them be. Cause in the end everyone will be happier.

 

I always say people are stupid...a mind is a terrible thing to close and most people have it locked up tighter than fort knox.

What irritates me is the fact that a lot of the people I have on Facebook are saying that that celebrity dude becoming a woman is not heroic and that military are more heroic blah blah blah.

To which I say bullshit. I expressed my opinion in the matter, which is both are acts of heroism and courage and that it isn't a goddamn competition. What may be heroic to one may not be so to another. And that both in my opinion were equal.. I was tired of the shit my friends had pulled.

I can't stand children, personally. I couldn't imagine having to work with them.

 

have tried to write like 10 posts on different subjects but I've deleted all of them because it all either looked like alphabet-thought-soup or people would take offense to it and misunderstand your point even when you're agreeing with them. I've always liked thinking about things and theorizing just for the sake of curiosity and I hate how anymore people can't take an interesting idea or concept as simply an idea or concept. blah, either way I'm bored and angry, gonna go play with power tools and try to make something cool
