I am concerned and nervous. Today's been a good day. Too good, actually. I've finished almost everything I set out to do today, didn't spend as much money as I thought I needed to, people - staff - have helped me beyond what they are supposed to, I found that a majorly serious problem I thought I had with my car is actually a really trivial and easily solved problem and the remote key fob is working properly again.

I don't have days like this. Never. So now I'm waiting for something to go wrong or some bad news.

I'm moving on...quicker than I was expecting or so I thought...

I was trying to avoid porn for a bit, kinda let my mind reset from the break up. Just trying to do whatever I can to relax. I fired up another OKCupid to get the ball rolling a bit and to distract myself. I really wanted to meet someone...with the mistaken belief that it would help me forget.

So I'm looking at porn on 4chan again after browsing some YLYL threads to get the giggles going a bit...laughing helps a lot. Trying to remain positive and all...

Of course I get caught up in a thread I just can't resist...you fap you lose...always something interesting posted. I'm mostly watching just ass vids but then I watch some other stuff...I don't normally watch anime but clicked a couple anyway because why not. Most are dawww worthy and hot at the same time....I was surprised. I watch a couple more...and I start getting fiercely aroused but emotionally. This very, very rarely happens to me and it felt like I was getting high almost...the desire to fuck someone was unreal. I watched some other stuff and then called it quits because I'd start downloading and hoarding these things. They were so good.

I'm sipping my coffee and thinking after about the randomest things...like I started to think about dating a girl again...and going through the pre-relationship stuff, slowly exploring each other's personality and on and on and I started to get really excited. It occured to me that I have a lot more experience with women than I ever thought and actually know stuff. The thrill of the chase and the exploration of a new relationship brought me to an odd excitement and enthusiasm to find another girl and I was surprised with what I was feeling...especially because in the back of my mind was sadness and a lot of guilt.

I've come to a realization: I know the truth now...I don't think my ex was ever able to turn me on like that, I should probably emphasize foreplay more and that perhaps shorter relationships that aren't serious are probably more my thing for the time being. I cried a bit...I mean I'm still a bit sad but it's so annoying how it comes in waves like this, sometimes I'll be fine for a few hours and then something reminds me of her. Usually I shrug it off and think of future possibilities but sometimes there's a real emotional trigger (like this) and I can't help it.

In a way I feel there's a desperation within me to move on, especially since I'm trying really hard to distract myself, but at the same time...I'm now more aware I should take my time. I would be extremely embarrassed if I had met a girl, something intense triggered me, and I lost my poker face and cried because of extreme guilt or another realization. Truth hurts I guess, but at least I'm learning more about myself. Better think more and come to terms with this before I make a serious move.

 

Personally I think you might enjoy dating a guy for a change... Just maybe

 

Surely dating is over rated. It's just a best friend with benefits.

Haha, yeah...I have the 'test' model and then a new one for myself but they're decoration. My partner can use most of the one I cast for him, but I've got nowhere that it would fit in myself. Did have a smaller sculpture started too but the size jump was too much and I put it aside for a bit. Something to look at again in the future, certainly.

I had some trouble falling asleep. Woke up then couldn't get back to sleep a bit ago. Still riding out a super intense anxiety, waiting for things to start and normalize again. It's not all 'off,' however, as I did wake up to a really nice thunderstorm.

 

If Microsoft Hololens is the real deal, I'll get them and make my own 3D porn. I'll give up real life.

today was so fucking brutal it was almost metal. constant 90*F heat and sunny while raining and lugging heavy equipment up a huge hill
