Had an epic storm pass to the south a few hours ago. Was outside while it rolled in, but felt tired quickly, and bored when I realized it was going to hit Joliet and not here so went back inside. Saw some nice lightning at least, and honestly stepping out into that hot, super humid weather felt surprisingly good for the sick self.

Fever is gone, tonsils have made a marked improvement. I'm hoping to be back on my feet tomorrow, although know I won't be 100% for a while.

Partner and I decided to get a bulk pack of condoms.

I'll grab some Trojan Bareskins before we hang out next since we're almost entirely out, and the bulk pack won't arrive by the time we get through whatever's left. He was curious if we could get through all of them before the end of the year, I've accepted the challenge. 125 condoms, 191 days? yeah, yeah we can do that... Have a lot to make up for the last four days too :V

 

So I got a notice saying the airbag in my car was put in wrong and might kill me.

My dad got a similar notice for his Mustang. Fortunately air bag fixes seem to get taken care of quicker, compared to everything else we've had recalled on all the cars here in the last few years.
I'm still waiting to get the alternator in my Challenger replaced. "It might explode but we don't have any in stock GOOD LUCK WITH THAT" thank you Dodge/Ram/Chrysler dealer, I appreciate your help.
I should call them but I am a spineless coward and afraid of phones and stuff.
Or I suppose I could get Dad an extra bottle of booze and he'd call for me. I dunno.

Either someone downstairs messed up their cooking, or there's been a sewer pipe leak somewhere. Either way, something here smells horrendous.
