good luck, I got a notice back in early december and just got it replaced this month. it isn't so much it'll explode and kill you, all airbags use a powerful explosive to inflate, it's just that if it happens to trigger the airbag it may shoot some metal shrapnel into your face/chest cavity, which may or may not kill you. hopefully they didn't try to get you to come in and hold your car hostage until you sign a waiver like the dealership did here

 

Same issue with my car. I have an appointment thursday.

 

now I'm wondering how many airbag pranks have resulted in surgery to remove shrapnel from someone's ass

 

This made me imagine an airbag popping out with a party blower sound.

 

*slaps credit card away* "If you can't afford it don't buy it" I have always been taught that. Never have brought anything in my life without my own hardwork.

Credit cards are the banks way of getting people to spend and get in debt. Debt is what they can control.

 

That's my view of credit cards too, but if I ever want to get anything in the future, like a home loan, then I need to establish credit. The plan is to use the card, pay it, and not carry a balance.

 

Omg I know this is completely of topic but my mum just came into my room and said "So..... When are you going to Japan?"

I was like err what are you on about?

"Your customers have just mentioned that the nice blonde girl at the local grocery store was going to Japan"

(In my mind - omg customers why why why did you tell her!?)

So mum replies "No? she's not she's stuck at the grocery store looking for a full time job."

Then the guy at the chip shop which I found out she was talking to said he'd offer me a full time job.

Mum just said to him, I wouldn't work there. Which is true but I'd least tell him in a nicer way than what she did.

Maybe I should just stay asleep all the time. At least it's a happier place despite the nightmares.

 

Ugh that is the least supportive parenting possible...

 

Well, if you really wanna keep a secret, you don't tell anyone except the strangers online that live thousands of miles away.

 

I'm so goddamn cold... My mom turned the AC as low as it would go all night, it was freezing in here and despite wearing all the blankets I had AND pajamas I'm shivering....

 

They're the only encouragement I get though and seeing as my mum never goes to the shops anyway I thought she'd never find out.

It has been technically months already she hadn't known.

Everyone at work is like do it and my mum just squishes it out of existence.

Now I'm wondering if she'll withhold off giving me grandmas money from the will even longer.

Don't get me wrong I still want to but now doubts are high now. Especially finically.

Well I am currently in floods of tears cause now even my dad doesn't support me with my decision.

My head hurts I should just go back to sleep.

 

I apparently have a free drink for Starbucks...hmmm *schemes*

 

I don't like coffee, so Starbucks doesn't do much for me. I guess the hot chocolate is alright, but not in the summer. xP

Tried one of their smoothies once. Eww.

 

So after some heavy lifting and a couple of scratches from moving a vending machine, I managed to earn an extra $20
