My experience with Vista was initially positive, but I'm an absolute sucker for pretty GUIs, and Vista's aero was much more aesthetically pleasing than XP's color-splosion. I think one thing a lot of people, including myself, didn't like about Vista was how much of a resource hog it was compared to XP. I think Windows 7 really refined a lot of the things people didn't like about Vista, while keeping and improving on the things people did like about it.

Of course.. I talk about Windows 7 like it's new. I guess it's not anymore. I still kinda love Windows 7; it runs great and does everything I want it to (including that Windows Update assisted plug-n-play, which is honestly one of my favorite things compared to XP). I'm not a big fan of Windows 8 or 8.1, but I like what I see with the upcoming Windows 10. I actually intend to upgrade my machine as soon as the free upgrade is available in late July.

 

I'm still debating if I'll update that 8 machine to 10.

Gonna keep 7 on my laptop though. It just works. Why fuck with it?

@doit666 I'd assume you already have if you're debating it, but if you haven't, I suggest looking up what's new with Windows 10 and what differentiates it from earlier versions and using that to decide whether to upgrade your 8 machine. There's a developmental (?) version of the OS that's been out for a lil while, which has been the source for reviews and useful information.

 

The main thing is that the 8 machine is actually my mom's. Not sure I wanna deal with "how do I do this thing now?" again. 40 million times.

So I finished 2nd in my class and I'm officially out of training! I was going to reward myself by getting a dong but I think getting a $350 parrot makes up for that lol.
Monday I start working 4 days a week at 10 hours a day. When the new job starts I may or may not quit this one, not sure yet.

 

In the update of my car's homicidal airbag. It's been fixed. Now I shouldn't have shards of metal exploded into my chest if the airbag deploys.

 

It sort of depresses me realising just how many times I end up petering out mid-sentence IRL because I realise that nobody is interested in or listening to what I'm saying.

On a similar note, I'm recently being haunted by all the awkward and cringeworthy things I've done and said in my life. Somebody immolate me plz.

 

I've set up my musician rig in my living room, very proud of how it looks (despite how dirty it is >.>)

 

Getting sick in the middle of the summer blows.

 

Finishing off the assortment of Lindor chocolates I bought on my trip. I bought them right in front of my mom and succsfully deflected all attention away from them the entire trip so I could enjoy them all myself. I paid for them, I'm unemployed, and they're a variety I can't get anywhere else. And they're amaaaaaaazing.

 

Dammit I am craving chocolate right now and I have none.

 

So... Futabu is getting a second season of 5 OVA's...

Trying to plan for the next 6 months. Some things need to happen before I can make more in depth plans, however, like it needs to be November already xD.

I've decided until school to switch to all day shift. I don't like the feeling of driving home tired. Also, me and my guy don't talk a lot as it is and being on different shifts really doesn't help.

 

All you need is a set of drums, and you'll have a band! Nice equipment BTW
