0_0 those are some big life changes. They sound a bit scary, but also kind of adventurous. A new place, new people, new experiences. It could turn out to be a wonderful thing, keep your chin up darling.

I think this big change in exeters life is the little nudge he needed to get out of the boring norm he expected of his life.

@Misskin Change is good and all but I don't really like the idea that any sense of home is being completely obliterated. I have nowhere to go back to. From here on out I'm staying with friends or my dad in an emergency. My mom will be so far away it might be years before I see her again. It'll probably be years before I see any of my friends again, if I ever see them again. My family is so scattered and disconnected.... I just don't really like the idea that the minute I leave home, home is gone. Home is where your mom is, in my mind. And she'll be renting a room off a friend on the East Coast.

@SnowLycan You know, I was bored and depressed, but that was only because I was stuck working at Wendy's while nothing else I applied for ever even called me back. I would have had a happy life with michael, probably even a happier life working days. We'd probably still be together.

I wouldn't care much except this guy has been experimenting with adding other stuff to his weed, and then he goes and operates heavy equipment that could easily crush someone like an ant

Reminds me of some videos they had us watch for workplace safety...
Here's a compilation of PSA's that are typically used to scare assholes and unattentive people up here in Canada. Maybe show em to your co worker.

It really breaks my heart to see you so down, but even as I'm typing I'm remembering that life gets sad sometimes and each person should be allowed time to morn and not be expected to bounce back right away.

Very good appraisal of the situation. It all started the day he broke up with me. That was when everything started to fall apart. So I went home as I had already planned to see a dentist. And then the roadtrip began and suddenly, and my mom came clean with me, and everything else fell apart. My parents have been together for 7 years. This house was my home for 5 years. I've lived in this town all but one year of my life. And now, everything that seemed like a foundation in my life is just completely gone.

You never really realize how little you have in life until it's all gone. Until there's nothing left to cling to and everything familiar just ceases to be.

I can feel you there. But I changed my definition of home which is me, 'cause I have found that I'm the one I have to cling to. I wish you good luck in you journey, you'll probably learn a lot about yourself.

But hey, you made friends in college that you kept up with. You still win.

So, hey, I get to go to Toronto tomorrow for a work trip, not sure how long I'll be there but it should be fun. Never have had a chance to explore Toronto.

Well I have a couple suggestions...you can try craigslist to see if you can find someone with similar interests. Social clubs are another option or find a job/volunteer work that forces you to deal with people. Be careful with the last one though...I discovered just how dumb some can be since I work with people every day.

Dragged into the living room to talk about dogs and stuff, so I was poking at the GSDs face (because I'm an asshole) and he's so good at dealing with that. Very gentle, wouldn't bite even if someone was irritating him. In contrast, the little rat dog thing in the house bit me yesterday when I tried to pull her out of my garbage.
Anyway, the Lab has had lumps on him for a while, and they were told not to worry about it a couple years ago. Guess the vet did a biopsy since now it's suddenly a concern. Dad was asking what I would do in a scenario, to give the dog medicine if he had cancer, or put him down. Really does depend on the dog's condition, I suppose. Would be wrong to let them suffer.

My family's drunk though, so trying to have a conversation is absurd.

Tired and depressed today. There's gotta be something in here making me sick, it's driving me crazy.

Trying to meet people on Craigslist sounds... sleazy? At the very least it doesn't seem like a good idea.
I'm not sure what kind of social club you're talking about. I've been in a few, but not really sure I'm doing them right.
And I already have a customer service job. Like many companies out there, mine looks poorly upon fraternizing with the customers.

    NOPE

I already use it. I've only found one group to be in, and that's because I knew about the group before using meetup.
