The "Bad Mood" Thread

Thanks.... and here's the thing, the rest of life is great. I'm optimistic about things that are coming my way. Its just... in this moment, I was vulnerable, and wanted to spend some time with him. But he doesn't care about me any more. I have been utterly replaced. And I am going to do whatever it takes to get through it.

 

That moment when you know you can make it, but you just...need...a respite. A few minutes to let someone else hold you up while you catch your breath . It's not fair you didn't get that. But it sounds like you're picking yourself up regardless, and you can see the things you've got going for you, so good job: the fact that you can even see the forest for the trees already is a good thing.

 

I've noticed that people all do the same thing after finding out that I'm schizophrenic. They stop looking me in the eyes and won't walk within arms length of me. Don't know why that upsets me.

 

@Exeter I might repeat myself here, but I'm always out there if you'd like to talk/vent. I'm just not pushing it, leaving the decision whether you need or want this to you - so when you will feel up like it, go ahead and send me a PM/message on Skype or something.

This is terrible, what you're going through now. But I kinda know how you feel when you say "I've never been less of a priority, never felt less important, and never been so forgotten when I needed somebody.".

 

I know buddy, but the thing is, aside from this little bit of misery, life is pretty good.

My parents are splitting up, my mom is moving to one side of the country while I'm moving to the other, but that's not my problem. She's trying to take care of herself and I can't spend my life worrying about her decisions. I have to take care of ME and get MY life started. I'm optimistic about that.

 

Sorry to hear that. That's especially crappy if they already knew you as a person for a while. Mental health really needs to be discussed and understood better in this country. I myself am not as educated/experienced with it as I'd like to be, but I will say that I've always enjoyed seeing you around the forums.

It's extremely depressing see how little respect people have towards other people...very VERY few people know how to communicate with people anymore and it's saddening...
That and I'm really fucking pissed off at my coworkers...most of them simply just suck as human beings and need a reality punch to the face.

I had a similar incident happen to me. I had a bike that I loved to bits and ended up plowing it into some old lady's car doing 55. I went flying and landed on my head, the bike was fucked and it was her fault 100%; she pulled a left in front of me from the oncoming lane like a tard AND THEN TRIED TO RUN AFTER. Since I didn't have my license on me at the time ICBC didn't do anything because I wasn't "significantly injured" and wasn't following their rules. OK, fine, but when I had 10 witnesses' phone numbers vouching for me and they all said it was her fault? Come on.

I'm feeling an overwhelming amount of being self conscious of my art today to the point where I'm feeling sick. I want to draw but every time I look at my tablet I feel nauseous and queasy and I wanna draw and maybe try to do some icons or something (if anyone commissions me murp) but I'm shitty at advertising myself anywhere and I feel like I ask too much in prices.

Blah. I'm just gonna try to power through being sick to my stomach and try to finish up this one piece I have in my folder.

 

Ask @ObeyTheSnarf cause he can definitely help you with your prices. He'll yell at you to raise them most likely.

 

I suggest you just draw something fun! Pick a handful of pokemon and don't worry about showing them to anyone, just make them in different ways and different styles and different interpretations for the fun of it!

And any time you are wondering if you really are as good as you seem, think of me, and my icon, and know that I love it more than anything. I love it so much that I sometimes think of having Exeter redesigned to look that way permanently. That sergal-looking snout, just makes him 10x cooler and is TOTALLY BADASS.

 

Idk why but I'm so chicken of raising my prices ; ~ ; I just lowered them a bit to see if that would work. $8 an icon (from $10) and $15 for badges, $20 for shipping, lamination, cut and clip (from $20 for the digital file only and $25 ish for the lamination and everything).

Thanks Exeter, that cheered me up a little bit and it still fills me with happiness that you still love that icon so muc :'3. I didn't draw Pokemon but I did draw something fun (it's up on FA) and I'm a little happy with it. I might give a shot at drawing a pokemon but I've always been so bad at drawing them x__x

 

Don't worry about drawing anything like somebody else, put your own flair on them, do them like you did Exeter, with a little something special, a little variation, some inspiration from other places. You have more fun being creative than you do recreating something :3

 

I'll try to put my own flair on a pokemon, oh gosh i hope it looks okay in the end. I just did a sketch for a friend im now finishing up and i hope that will look good in the end too ; 3 ;

 

Draw dragonite and snorlax and munchlax and wobbufet! Then draw Gatomon and Patamon and Terriermon and Lopmon and kokomon! Then draw a dog and a fish and a spider and a cow!

Just have fun doodling and remind yourself why you started drawing! Because it's fun and practice makes you better ^^

 

Aside from money and time, my parents are the most unsupportive fucking people imaginable, like holy fuck.
And even the financial and time support is occasionally used to guilt trip me, as if I have any fucking choice.
