well I didn't have the spider dream last night, but I did have a weird dream about the eye-poke machine from dead space 2 and someone telling me it was required for the newest update for iOS 45... yeah, weird dream...

 

Part of it is stress, yes. Part of it is the holiday means there has been an excess of junk food.

 

Argh, life, stop being so cruel!

 

But junk food is so yummy. Why does it have to be so evil?

 

You just need to keep yummy veggies and fruits on hand that are just as easy and convenient to eat.

I got overtime today, so probably won't have another day off the rest of the week, but I could get out a bit early because of it. Dunno yet.

Edit: Tried my hand at making enchiladas last night! They turned out okay, considering I had to wing the recipe a little bit (not everything was on hand.) One of my favorite meals growing up; it's hard to taste bad when your main components are cheese, tortilla, and chicken.

 

I had a dream where these huge great dane sized cicadas were chasing me because they wanted to get into my ears...

 

That's not a reason to not eat. Eat when you're hungry, just eat something healthier, not even extremely healthy, just marginally healthier counts, and consider your portion. One of the things I'm struggling with is portion sizes. It doesn't need to be a dinner plate to sate your hunger. It's a lot smaller than that.

 

The new skype interface is hideous. It's like the old skype and the modern one had a son with more than one extra chromosome. No more linked to your MS account so you can just click and start it.
For fuck's sake, you even have to open two windows if you want the chat to go full screen. Not to say that notifications are the way they were back then, instead of popping in a medium size notification in righ-mid screen not in the corner.
Don't fix what isn't broken. Instead of "fixing" modern Skype, fix your goddam updates MS. I had to restore my computer to default.
Am I the only one who liked the modern design?
