if only it were that, turns out her little sister tried committing suicide today because a bunch her so called 'friends' online were bullying her since she had identified as asexual but had started to like a guy in one of her classes. her little sister is awkward as fuck by the way and barely ever spent any time with anyone, never had many friends, was always trying to get other people's acceptance, and didn't get much attention so my friend thinks that's why she kind of got into that group online. her sister made a post about starting to have feelings for this boy in her class and of course people lost their minds and started calling her a 'traitor' and saying some horrible stuff. my friend showed me some of the messages her sister got. some of them I would like to not have had to read. either way she wanted to talk to me since I'm one of the few people she knows that isn't 'heteronormative' as she says it, also because she knows I had a bit of a self harm problem and got through it and she's trying to understand why her sister did it. I really didn't know how to answer most of her questions and I kinda feel bad about it but the one thing I could tell her is to talk to her sister and get her off those groups and let her be herself. I'm supposed to call her back later and see how things are going at the hospital.

 

I think I'm obvious and you already done that, but you can do bigger canvas just keeping the proportions (i.e. if the banner has to be 1000px wide and 500px high, you could do 3000x1500 canvas), then after finishing it simply resize the canvas or even the picture when saving as .jpg

 

You know, there comes a time every now and again where you actually have to replace an article on the top five craziest stories you've heard of. Today is that time.

Judge Lisa Gorcyca in Michigan recently held three children in contempt of court, and sent them to a juvenile detention center until they age out at 18. They are 15, 11, and 9. They were in the court because their parents are currently getting a divorce. Now you may be wondering, what could they have possibly done to warrant such harsh punishment? Simple, they refused to have lunch with their father.

All three children have maintained that they dislike their father for the entire divorce proceedings because they say they've witnessed him abusing his now ex-wife. They don't wish to have a relationship with an abusive man. The judge didn't like that however, and said that because he's never been convicted of anything they have "no reason" not to have a healthy relationship with him. So, she demanded that they have lunch with him, and they all repeatedly refused. She lost her shit and now they're in juvie until they're 18. They've been separated from each other in the facility, and their parents aren't even allowed to visit.

Yeah, great idea, separate the entire family from each other and forbid them from seeing each other until the children are adults. That'll teach those damn kids some respect!

It's also worth noting that the judge has been nasty towards the children throughout the entire proceedings. She's made a number of snide remarks regarding the teenager's perceived attitude, and when the 9 year old was having difficulty communicating her thoughts to the judge's satisfaction (As many 9 year olds would. Let's face it, they're not english majors.) The judge said to her "God gave you a brain. Use it!"

The judge should be investigated to see if she's getting some backdoor cash for putting people behind bars, juvie kids included. This is just so far beyond ridiculous that it almost walks right into the realm of parody. The judge should lose her job for abuse of power.

well my friend's sister isn't going to die or lose her liver. just a reminder to everyone, don't try to off yourself by taking a whole bottle of acetaminophen, it'll just fuck up your liver and you'll end up in the hospital for a while in a lot of pain

I can't even... is this actually going to be upheld? Hold a 9, 11, and 15 year old in juvie? Not like they need those formative years to, you know, learn to be functional humans. Really wish this was a joke...

 

I just got done organizing all of my moving stuff. I've been getting these items from family since my senior year of high school (cuz I'm smart like that as I'm poor person) and all I would really need would be some pots n pans. Not gunna rely one people to give me furniture or anything. or even a full/queen sized bed and mattress lmao.

I also have an art cabinet in my room, so I also organized that and might have to get more school stuff. Mostly notebooks but I dunno yet.

Talking about Batman. Batman Arkham Knight is a huge disappointment to me.

When I started watching a gameplay (I don't like the game, but enjoy someone commenting over it and enjoying it) I quickly realized that the Arkahm Knigh was the old Robin. What happens at the end? Welp, it's indeed Jason.
He's blatantly jelous of you and let's you know (the player) that Batman never let him take the responsability with wannabe-subtle comments. So poorly written, you must be retarded not to realize the first minute you hear him.
