No need to play anything. Be yourself. If you're gonna fake something, you are making person you're dating fall into love with that faked personality, and not yours. I don't think it's supposed to work that way.

 

The problem is that especially in the younger realm many people take this as cannon and will start to assume things if you don't call right at 3 days. It's really sad. like if you call the next day or day two BAM! automatically Needy. or day 4 BAM! automatically don't want to be with you or want to use you. In California the rat race was sad.

 

I have things in my PO box but didn't bring my key. Hmmm wonder what's in there....

this. It's super disingenuous to pretend to be someone you're not in the first place and it's not fair to you or them to do that in a relationship. You're not liked for who you truly are and you're essentially lying to them. It's not sustainable because sooner or later you're gonna get tired of putting on an act and it will be infinitely more painful if you're both already emotionally invested in the relationship than if you find out you're incompatible at the beginning.
