big fucking spider on my floor, probably rode in on my jeans from work today. I've definitely seen plenty of spiders in the past half a week with what I've been doing. had some in my gloves too. not fun

now if it were one of these I might not mind so much

hmmm, mad scientist idea, genetically engineer an unstoppable army of giant adorable spiders.

 

Found one of my favorite songs from high school again, now I need to find all the songs and put them on my computer/ipod for good.

 

We had a wicked one pop up earlier. Stood in the door to the back yard with my partner and half his family as it blasted through. Way too much close lightning, then some quarter sized hail.
I loved it.

That's a pretty common reaction. Antihistamines can be good, but it seems like everyone has one that just does not work with their chemistry. I have to stay away from loratadine, gives me heart palpitations, but a fair number of my friends get jittery from diphenhydramine/Benadryl.

 

Having a really irregular work schedule is messing with my head. Three days in a row now have I woken up with no idea if I have to work today or not. Five minutes later I catch on but still.

 

Been applying for more jobs all night, fixing my resume, fixing my cover letter, trying a new website, trying new approaches, have a rotten headache....

Applying for jobs makes me feel physically ill.

On another note is anyone entering the comic competition at BD?

 

Harley Quinn is a woman who dropped a fight when she figured out Black Canary was pregnant and sat and talked with her and visited her in the hospital with baby gifts.

She is a woman with a doctorate degree who can break into Arkham with only a handful of objects, something no other Batman villain can do.

She’s a woman who knows she’s been abused and is working past it.

She’s a woman who called Dr Fate on his shit because “some of us went to school and earned that title”.

And that is why I refuse to watch her reduced to a pair of tits with a snarky attitude.

 

So, I am living with married co-workers who are furries and wolves to the core. We have plans of either adding a den room onto the current home, or finding a bigger place with a room that we can make the den room. Either way, we are in search of a pet bed big enough for two people. Like on IMVU and such. Any leads, interwebs?

Soooo I have been forced into a look change. My hairdresser has ceased doing boys (because some weird-ass contract) and I had to get my hair done by the new guy.
Disaster is what I call his work. Not even close to the haircut I had, even with a photo by his side.
He layered my hair RANDOMLY, the shape is inexistent and the fringe... no comments on that.
I h8 using headbands but... it's the only way. Otherwise I'd feel ashamed o repulsed.

Our best photo of Pluto yet. There will be 10x better resolution photos released tomorrow so get ready. New Horizons is currently in silent mode while it gathers data. It'll take a full year to send it all back bit by bit but photos are coming first!
