got more work done on my knife, definitely need more practice with the belt grinder to shape the ends of the handle scales evenly. it's my first time doing it so it'll be far from perfect but I want it to be perfect. either way OD green micarta looks pretty damn cool when the ground edges get wet

Oh god, yeah I bet. I just felt bad not knowing exactly what to do, but...at least I wasn't That Guy.

Up a little too late again, but was packing stuff. Took an antihistamine with drowsy side effect a bit ago to help with all the bug bites and it's also kicking in now. Could use some good sleep, kinda hard to when everything itches. But I am just Bad at sleeping.

 

My favorite recurring theme is when you've got a road blocked. Car across the road, cones out, flashing lights the whole 9 yards. Inevitably someone will come along and stop in the middle of the road, wind the window down and say something along the lines of "But I need to go that way".

Is it not obvious that going that way is not an option? How dense and self absorbed are people? Seriously!

I've ran into this when pouring concrete at a business. Despite there being two entrances, no way to get past without driving through fresh concrete, and the thing completely blocked off by tape and cones, people still tell you "well, I have to get in there!". One guy (that worked at the business, so we couldn't give him shit directly) even decided he could just drive into the grass past our barriers and then over the fresh concrete, then park directly in our way, telling us he would be right back, so he didn't have to move or explain himself.

Sharknado 2 was glorious.

 

Surprised they even made money on film 1 to get funding for 2 more.

 

It was a cheap film, so it makes getting the money back easier. Combine that with the spontaneous twitter explosion that happened when the first movie dropped guaranteed it to be a social media event when the second movie was released.

 

Guess who doesn't know how to spend their money wisely and bought a 9 bottle bulk pack of BD Clear lube....>.=.>

 

Last week its, "i love you" this week its, "i never want to see you again." Heh, and she says im full of shit. Ah well, shes heading in a much better direction now, and thats the important thing.
