I just see this kind of thing pop up on DA every other day where someone finds their art posted somewhere else, rallies their entire group of online acquaintances to have a good ol' fashioned art thief hunt, blow up a bunch of forums with angry shitposts, get a bunch of people banned who aren't directly involved, congratulate themselves and act like they did something amazing and then have the same thing happen within a few days. the unfortunate part of posting shit online is while you have legal rights to it, you can't really control what's done with it, you can try, but in most cases if someone's selling your art on another site the most you can hope to do is get them to take it down, which in most cases they won't give a shit and if you seek a legal remedy you'll usually find 1. internet anonymity, you'll never find out who they are to sue them if you even have enough money to even try, 2. most of the time sites like that operate from another country, statistically usually china, where they won't give a shit. there's also this other interesting little loophole with derivative works like fanart and fanfics where they technically belong to the original creators of a work it's based off of, which to some legal analysts would be considered IP theft
aside from that it's like beating a dead horse, it spreads awareness, but not much else. getting outraged over a common occurrence, no matter how crappy it might be won't make a difference
