coworkers were too lazy to help so I got to lift a 250 lb rock out of a hole on my own. fuck them. (literally 250 pounds! D:<)

it wasn't even a little hole either, I had to lay on my front in the dirt and reach down a 3 foot hole and lift it straight up and then somehow stand and not drop it while they sit there and stare like turkeys.

The semi-local fur group is doing a meetup on one of my days off. Now I have to get over my anxiety of trying to meet complete strangers. ._.

I think I've figured out why I don't like most reality tv is because all it does is reward people for being stupid overly dramatic alcoholics on tv

a caveat however, I do like competition shows like chopped, forged in fire and I really liked Ellen's design challenge since they made some cool furniture. one thing I don't like about forged in fire is they don't give contestants enough time to do proper work. no one does a proper normalization cycle or they at least don't show it and every week at least 2 people end up with stress fractures and usually no tempering. also they end up almost always including a contestant who's either a total douche or can't keep track of the basic parameters like the maximum length

 

How else you can meet potentially great friends? Everybody was a stranger to each other at first. I'm going off tomorrow (Wednesday) for 4 days, 2 hour trip to a furry con, and I have only met a handful of those people IRL. I'm stressing out as probably never before, but I'm also very excited
So basically what @Exeter said, just do it! (*insert Shia Labeouf pic here*) In worst case scenario you can just retreat when things start to go wrong.

 

Have a headache still even after a fair few hours sleep. Stupid stabbing frontal headaches.

 

So my sister's cat just pissed on my bed. I am in a less than agreeable mood, because there is very little doubt in my mind that the reason is because my sister either A) always has her door closed so the cats can't use her litter box (doubling the amount that goes into mine of course) or B) that she never fucking cleans it to begin with. I clean my litter box every other day, there have been times where I can see very plainly that she hasn't cleaned hers for weeks.

 

While my original plans for heading to Texas were dashed, I'm still leaning towards going anyway to see a couple people I met on BD.
So, yeah, just go.

But there is no basis for this. It's like "hey, I stalked your page on the internet and decided to bother you now (assuming I can figure out which of you random people here are from the fur group I saw online)

 

But you have a basis of the trip, you've had interaction with them before even if you haven't met them irl yet. This is literally a meetup group I found online and have had zero interaction with anyone in it, even online.

 

Well why not try interacting with the group before hand them?
