What Is On Your Mind?

For the most part I actually share Snow's perceptions regarding relationships. Thus far there isn't a single relationship I've been in, familial or otherwise, without which I would be at a loss (aside from the obvious being-raised part). Similarly (and again, disregarding developmental stages) I don't believe I've known a person that's really had a direct impact on who I am as a person.

I suppose I'm also a bit different in that there is an exceptionally small number of people that I admire in any capacity. Even then, terms like admire and look-up-to don't adequately describe how I feel about said people. Perhaps something closer to...appreciating their existence and accomplishments?

 

Well, just like anything else in life, relationships aren't for everyone. Ultimately, no one should tell you how to live your life, you should always just do what makes you happy and fulfilled! There is no right or wrong answer.
I was just answering Show's question about why people may find them so appealing.

 

I love the idea of being in a partnership like what has been described above.

When it comes to looking up to people, the obvious answers would be such and such a famous person. I don't really look up to anyone in my life. Sure, if I met my favorite people (Matt Smith, David Tennat, Peter what's his face, Markiplier, or Adam Levine, to name a few), I'd probably geek out like a fangirl. But do I look up to anyone? No, not really, and not a lot from family members, either.

 

Its time I start looking at things from a more positive perspective. Jackrabbit really did the whole world a favor offing himself.

Someone apparently has it out for me, because they got me suspended on FA for a total BS reason, and then made a fake account on Weasyl to stalk me with. What a fucking coward.
Now I can't get in contact with my paid commissioners for 30 days.

had another weird day at work and ended up with a recipe for red beans and rice and jambalaya from a contractor's wife that showed up to bring her husband lunch and she had extra and gave us some and then watched her get after some of their employees slacking off. when a 6'2" sassy black lady that looks like she lives in the weight room tells you to get back to work, you get back to work

also should add that she doesn't like the two guys on the crew I'm driving around right now, she refers to them as "them scowly muthafuckas over there"

Why was the nail polish banned?

 

something along the lines of "this shouldn't exist because it doesn't attack rape culture" basically because it was a tool a potential victim could use to avoid becoming a victim it ruffled a lot of feels

A group ended up starting a petition to ban it from being researched futher or produced, andI heard someone also started a petition to try to get the four students who developed the nail polish kicked out of their school for "promoting and shaping an unsafe environment"
basically it's about the same as making the argument of "crosswalks, walk signals and looking both ways before crossing the street shouldn't exist because drivers just shouldn't hit pedestrians"

 

Wow. How stupid can people really be.
You can't stop a rapist just by saying 'Well you shouldn't do this, bad rapist!' I'd like to be protected, thanks :/

I still can't even see how either of these products promote an unsafe environment????? Like, that doesn't even make sense to me wth.

 

not gonna go into a rant about SJWs, but I think you get my point. it's like a few app producers have made apps that if you don't check in on them after a certain amount of time it notifies someone you choose as an emergency contact and if they can't get a hold of you for you to remember to reset it it will alert the authorities and in some versions track your phone. these were also shot down and banned because "you wouldn't need this if it were safe to walk home alone at night, don't put the burden on the victim"
it's not so much that anything makes anyone 'unsafe', it's that it's an alternate solution to an issue that they don't agree with, even if it actually helps

Right.
I know these things SHOULDNT be necessary, but they are. That's the world we live in right now, and if you want to rectify that, you have to work on BOTH SIDES of the issue.
