Woot! Got my haircut and it feels so nice to not have that much hair on my head

 

unfortunately that is literally the logic of a bunch of people use. last year a friend of mine that got ditched downtown at 2AM by her bitch friends because she was drunk and they didn't want her to throw up in their car and she also somehow ruptured her can of pepper spray, probably from stumbling around drunk since her friends ditched her. I went and got her, let her chill at my place, and bought her one of these to keep on herself

her friends weren't happy about it but at least she now has something in case they ditch her again and something does happen

 

yep, I think the point is pretty well clear that they are illogical and don't approach any issue from a real world perspective. they want to prevent rape, someone makes a tool to help prevent rape, they ban it, try to punish the people who made it and then rant about how it's ony helping perpetuate rape culture. bunch of fucking idiots

Scalie me and you are on the same page. My niece turns 16 she is getting a custom knife.
They can wash off pepper spray, but they'll never forget how they got that hole

 

I'll always say at least carry a small blade or something mildly pointy. easy to conceal, easy to use, but just know when to use it, and where to stick it

if it's a situation where I feel threatened enough to pull a knife, I'm going to be worried more about making sure I don't die than if they do

 

Same but manslaughter charges for "over defending" yourself is a real possibility

that is a possibility, but a fairly reduced one in my good ol redneck state. as much as I hate to use the line "better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6" better to be alive and be able to get out of prison if successfully charged than to end up raped, shot, stabbed, or murdered

Arizona also has a pretty open knife law, basically just about anything with a sharpened edge is allowed... within some reason.

 

Oh geeze, over-defense laws are ridiculous up here in Canada. If your dog bites a person breaking into your house/attacking you and the criminal presses charges, the dog has to be put down, very few exceptions. If you break their arm or something, you can be charged. Basically, if someone breaks into your house you better hope that a few light cuts or bruises are enough to dissuade them.

so basically I'll never move to Canada. I'm a firm believer in illegal actions having firm potential consequences. then again you could try saying swiper no swiping 3 times

 

This has been me for years now.

 

This is the same in the UK. The innocent get punished for what the criminals do. Like if someone broke into my home and my girls attacked them. I am sure we would have to have them put down and the intruder will receive compensation from the government.

Or we would have to pay out compensation for the fact that they were mauled by our dogs guarding our property.

It's just ridiculous.

The forces that our supposed to protect us brush us aside. But when we take matters into our own hands we are the ones in the wrong.

I've heard of some of the laws over there. even with as crazy and backwards as US politics can be on both sides I still would rather live here than deal with that
