What Is On Your Mind?

Ever since Friday evening ive had a knot of worry in my stomach. My dog Harley got her hindfoot caught between the gaps of a wood palette when she was zooming and hasn't stopped limping since. I get to take her to the vet tomorrow, but im scared of what they'll find. If its something that will require expensive treatment, my folks won't pay for it (they don't value pets as highly as I do).

She won't die or anything but I can't watch her walk without crying a little

@Misskin it's not that I like being single heck I would love to understand what the appeal is about a relationship is. Plus getting through life especially now days is a lot easier in pairs rather than on your own.
I guess I have just come to accept I'll be single now so I don't bother with it.
I have so many problems that would make it hard on both of us if I did have a partner. So I am saving them the trouble.

A radio show I listen to occasionally do these little prank calls at someone's suggestion to find out if someone's cheating on their other and one of them the guy had them call his fiance he proposed to the week before pretending to be the jewelry store giving advice on how to care for a cubic zirconium gemstone and the chick flipped out and started saying some complete bullshit about the guy because she thought the ring wasn't real. he was on the line and after listening for a few minutes just said "yeah, we're done. I'm returning the ring, have your shit out of my house by tonight" and then she spends the next 10 minutes bitching him out and trying to act like the bigger person. unfortunately most of the people around here are greedy status craving assholes, another reason I don't much care about finding anyone to date in my town.

 

Yeah, the sex would be nice (well, critical) but I'm mainly in it for the emotional goop and a snuggle buddy.

 

aww Snow, no one is without problems. I don't think its fair for you to think that no one would want to be with you over a thing like that. You're absolutely lovely and love isn't only given to flawless people. Whether its platonic or romantic, I believe someone would think you're best thing since Reese's Pieces (which I freakin love)

I hear you on the problems. ADD, RLS, Depression, and that's not even getting into the weak genetics. Better for me to save everyone else the trouble.

I thought he was already taken, and I've got a long distance boyfriend I would do anything for. the issue is the people in my town, i'm sure there are some good ones, but the difficulty is sifting the gems out of the gravel heap. and as for my grumpiness, long history of getting shit on by just about everyone and everything around me. the only thing that's worked out for me in life is barely trusting anyone more than I have to and working hard to get things done on my own. the only thing that's really worked out is me getting my scholarship, and that was because I did the work and put in the time to get perfect grades through highschool so I can at least get some kind of degree so I won't be stuck making shit minimum wage in my town where the only jobs are shit tourist services and food and lodging, or government work that requires a degree.

I'm learning most of this stuff as I go. I make sure I have enough info on how to do something before trying it so that there's little chance of burning the house down or getting myself killed. if you asked me two years ago to do half the stuff I know now I wouldn't have been able to do any of it
