My mind has drifted to chocolate now thanks to a conversation on the "does anyone else...?" thread. Then I remembered I actually had a few lindt chocolates stashed away. If anyone hasn't tried any of the following, try to find the time to do so.

    1. Chili pepper chocolate. Seriously, this stuff is weird but it's neat. it's like, not actually spicy because the chocolate blocks most of the spice out, but you still get some of it, so it just tastes like chocolate that gets warm in your mouth.

    2. Orange chocolate. One of my personal favorites, orange and chocolate are two very complimentary flavours.

    3. Chocolate with almond butter. Hot damn, if you think peanut butter goes well with chocolate you ain't tasted shit yet. Peanut butter and chocolate does not even compare to almond butter and chocolate. If you have the opportunity, buy some of the lindt almond butter chocolates, you won't regret it (unless you're allergic to almonds in which case why are you even buying it in the first place you silly person?).

I'm considering quitting my job to focus all my time on my business ans my nonprofit. But I'm not comfortable leaving my guys to be fucked over at every turn with no one there willing to stand up for them. The kids are just what's most important though, and it would be nice to be able to sleep more than four hours at a time twice a week. I don't know, I have no idea how to do the right thing. never have.

All the new university kids have already moved in here. The surrounding neighborhoods are soon to become a frat and sorority stomping ground. I really need to move away from this area, but I need the money to do so.

I also remembered why I stopped writing today. That's a thing.

I've named this room I'm in "The Cathedral". Giving it a name makes me sort of endeared to it. The reason for the name is that the walls are very high, there's a ten foot or so tall window, and at night there's an orange light that throws the pattern of the trees outside onto it and makes it look like stained glass.

On that second one you want to do the 2nd bar but starting from the 6th string. Like (xx/fretstring) 16 25 34 43, 13 24 35 46, 15 24 33 42, 12 23 34 45... and after you get to do it starting on the 4th string you just advance one fret. The fun in this is to start slow and trying to go a bit faster when you advance one fret. If you need some help don't hesitate in asking.

My robe came in...much more work is needed for this. Good thing I can make it myself, cuz if they had already done it, I'm sure the robe would have cost more than the $109 I paid for it.

basically due to one tiny mistake the knife I've been working on for almost the last week is now little more than a fancy letter opener. at least I bought two of each part since I was planning to make two of them and sell one once I finished the first one as a test piece. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if I can salvage the handle I was working on for the other blade blank or if I'll have to start from scratch and spend another 4 days just to get back to where I was now. I'm hoping I can use the handle I've worked on already because it's already done and ready and I managed to drill the holes and counterbore the pockets for the chain ring bolt perfectly within about 1.5 thousandths of an inch (as in 0.0015 inches) of the depth I need on a manual drillpress which is pretty fucking amazing without a mill and if all that work is wasted I'm going to flip my shit
