I had pork last night.................or should I say 'got porked'

 

This made me laugh for some reason.

 

Can anyone connect to their steam accounts right now?

 

I just did. Maybe it was a temporary hiccups on Steam servers preventing you from logging in.

 

Dammit or it is a software issue in a loop it seems. Goddamit steam goddamit computer.

 

So I've bossed through a good bit of homework...now not sure what to do...

 

This article makes me sick... what compels someone to do this?

As you can partially infer from the URL link, it details a young (17 y/o) girl pressuring her boyfriend into suicide. The guy was suicidal, but afraid to actually go through with it. Thanks to her "support," he eventually does. The sad part, to me, is that he seemed to be getting better, but she kept getting more insistent. Bringing up the topic at every opportunity, and harassing him for putting it off.

He died texting this girlfriend, via carbon monoxide poisoning, in his car. Mid-attempt he got out of his car, clearly not really wanting to go through with it. His girlfriend texted him back, telling him to get back in the car.

Then... she tries to start up a fundraiser to raise awareness about mental health issues. Claiming she tried to save her boyfriend's life.

 

Awful........
She needed mental health help more than he it seems.
such a sad waste.......

 

She's the kind of person that makes it hard to advocate against the death penalty.

 

I heard about that a while ago. I know defense attorneys are desperate slimy scumbags, but seriously? "oh, well he influenced and brainwashed this poor defenseless girl into pressuring him to kill himself!" seriously, just how fucking stupid do they think people are? this is also a great example of why you always get cops involved because they have the power to subpoena phone call and text records, if anyone ever accuses you of some serious shit try to get their phone records because if they're lying or exaggerating they're almost always dumb enough to talk to a friend about it

 

also the same art teacher that was saying the class is going to focus on facilitating discussions on blah-blah patriarchy blah-blah capitalism blah-blah oppression is now saying she's going to redesign the projects to focus more on social justice issues. to top it all off she brought in some supplies today but only gave them to the female students. the dean of the art school is definitely getting some emails tonight

 

Like it's not a Gender Studies class?

Ah, I love when people do stupid stuff, and I get to look on as the consequences play out.

 

I don't see how he pressured/brainwashed her at all... :v I mean, he said more than once he was too afraid to do it. Plus I really don't see how it would be possible to brainwash someone into helping them commit suicide. <_>

Also upsetting to see all the migrants washing ashore on Turkey (especially that poor 1 year old soul). :T What is going on with the world lately.
