The "Bad Mood" Thread

Urgh. I miss literally everything from back home. I miss the house, I miss the region, I miss Cincinnati. I miss my cats. I miss my Gramma. I miss the gorgeous places I would take walks to. The campus here is nice, but this dorm room is nothing compared to where I was living. I miss my family the most, talking to them and eating dinner with them at the table. Right now I'm alone in the room, and it's lonely. My family is the type to always be talking to each other about stuff, being witty and funny or serious and interesting. They were always there to talk to whenever I felt like it. Now I have no one around. I really hope this gets better when my roommate moves in Thursday and my classes start next week. I really, really hope it doesn't just become me being depressed and lonely plus insanely busy.

The only ray of good is that when I was out and about today on campus, I felt pretty at home. It's when I get back to my dorm that I feel completely overwhelmed by what I've left behind.

 

Never listen to anyone who is even tangentially related to the government about government related things. Apparently nobody knows what they hell they're talking about.

For one, they wasted literally tens of thousands of dollars getting people to get tested to see if they're actually able to give them the diplomas they've been holding for x amount of months, the same ones that they've previously stated that they don't have. Then, 2 months after they pay for and administer the tests, they just give them to everyone who thought the tests were bullshit for free.

Second, Ontario works has nobody working there with any amount of competency. They had me listed on the file as my mother's husband, and my sister as our daughter. After we fixed that in the beginning, there have been a total of 17 separate instances where we had to give them shit because they weren't giving us the money that we arranged for in prior meetings and phone calls. In addition to that, There have been 3 instances where they refuse to return our calls for months at a time with absolutely no explanation, and there have been 4 instances of them giving us false information which later resulted in us owing them money, which they're deducting in very small amounts from our monthly cheques.

Third, the government owed my mother several years of child taxes. Originally they estimated the total amount to be approximately twelve thousand dollars. Then it was ten thousand, then it was three thousand, then it was five thousand and they actually gave my mom the money. Then, half a year later when the money was spent and gone, they called us up and were like "oh sorry, we were only supposed to give you guys four thousand, can you give us a thousand dollars back plz?". Lol no, we have no money, we're kind of in the poor house and living on government assistance asshole. "Oh don't worry then, we'll just not give your mom any tax-back until the total amount owed has been withheld and claimed by the government."

Fourth, OSAP. Two and a half weeks ago I called up OSAP to file for repayment assistance. Basically this would make it so that the government would cover any additional interest charges applied to the account for 6 months and they would not require monthly payments. At the end of 6 months you have to apply again. So, I applied and the worker told me everything was good to go, then I get a notice from my bank today saying someone tried to take out 196 dollars that I don't have. Of course it was OSAP. So I called OSAP, the guy I talked to before didn't know what the fuck he was talking about because you can only apply online. Now I've actually applied, but OSAP is like "lol, you're gonna get a bank fee for that shit? We're not helping, that's your problem. I mean, we could cancel this payment and cover it under the payment assistance, which is exactly what will happen when it bounces and you get hit with an NSF and we don't get any money, but we're going to make things nice and difficult for you and not do that.". I call my bank up and sure enough, since I don't have the money that OSAP is trying to take I'll get hit with an NSF fee of about forty eight dollars. Guy at the bank said the most he could do about it was put a note on my account saying I called before the NSF fee hits, which will do jack shit when I have to call them again when it does hit.

Somebody favourited something on my FA and then immediately unfavourited it. WTF is Exeter not good enough for you??? Bitch???

There is also somebody slamming in my neighbour's door, kicking it, tearing the gate off the fence, bashing up the outer door, and currently, I think, sitting on the front steps in the rain. I believe it's somebody who was probably locked out by his mom for some reason or another. Why he insists on kicking stuff rather than caterwauling I don't know. It'd be the same amount of noise at this point at this time of night...

It even automatically highlights it for you as a helpful suggestion to delete the notification no matter what.

 

Huh... guess that means that's never happened to me. *shrug*

 

It might even been a simple missclick... But then no point in unfaving it.

 

Unless it was something they didn't want in their faves bar. Maybe it was someone who doesn't want porn associated with their account.

 

Today's uber shit. Work left me stressed as fuck, and when I came home even the slightest things make me mad. And that's just when I have to focus on completing my half of the art trade >.< I can't have even 5 minutes of peace in this household, everybody wants something from me non-stop. ASDSASDHASHDASDHAS I'M MAD NOW

People call up the hotel saying "I called and talked to a lady yesterday about-" and I just want to stop them right there and say "listen asshole, I know you're lying already because we haven't had a woman at the front desk in the last three days."

But I just grin to myself at having caught them, and let them get through their little lie. Usually what they need is something I could do if they'd just asked me directly, so in the end, it's no big deal.

 

Sometimes when people are trying to get off the phone I hear people in the background throwing them suggestions for lies to tell.

 

I don't really care, but it would be better if they whipped out "the lady yesterday said it was okay" AFTER asking me to do something.

 

Painfully lonely IRL, and it's getting reeeeally tiresome/annoying.

My boyfriend is literally all that I have. I love my online friends, I really do...but it's just not the same. u.u

I want someone to do random and sporadic things with...someone I can talk to for hours (I hate phone convos e.e) someone that shows up to my house whenever they want, and vice versa. -big siiiigh-
