Fuuuuuck, I need to work on my Melee game... Hadn't played for quite some time and was getting my ass handed to me by @Exeter yesterday.

Thinking of trying to learn at least one of the high tier characters, the advanced tech they have is damn fun and Luigi is just a little too exploitable.

 

Still need to play that with you guys. But for now you need to play rocket league with me!

 

I'll 3DS Smash you any day! But the WiFi here sucks for my 3DS for some reason, I can't figure it out. I'll have to try poster's Wii U. I'm Worried about trying to play PS4 games online, if they're this problematic, there goes any hope of enjoying No Man's Sky...

 

I use a cable from the router instead of the wifi for gaming.

 

So which Smash Bros do you have? 3DS or Wii U?

 

I might purchase the 3ds version if there is a good wifi connect for us to play with.

For dark souls (1) fans
I'm pretty sure some of the hinted at lore bits here are fanon (instead of canon.) Like Lautrec and the firekeeper. Still, I liked this.

Much more interesting if you have a basic grasp of dark souls character plots, so that you can see a scene and kinda go "aha! I see what they're doing/referencing here."

I'm interested, but I am horrified to think what the micro transactions will be. They say there will be in-app purchases, so I'm worried that the pokeballs (or some of them) will be pressured to be purchased. Because their pokedex cost money and then required the purchasing of each region separately for a stupidly high price for what you got. And the mobile and 3DS version of pokemon shuffle had that dumb hearts thing, where you only had a certain number of plays, and when you ran out you had to wait a half hour to get one back, Or buy more plays for actual money.

I wanna be excited, its a pokemon game about running around in the real world and catching pokemon, awesome. But the pokemon track record on mobile has been laden with extra costs and microtransactions. They could go the Fallout shelter route and have microtransations, but make them unnecessary to purchase to play the game an enjoy yourself for however long you'd like. Or they could go the more common route of putting the game (or specific elements of it) behind stupidly long wait times, with the option to purchase to get around them.

 

Or purchases to get past level whatever, so you always lose battles unless you pay. That'd be really evil.

 

Levels 1-10 come free, each 10 level increment is unlocked for a greater and greater price. 1.00 for 11-20, 2.00 for 21-30, so on and so on. You're right, pure evil.
I'm betting there's in-game currency that can be purchased. You start a day off with a certain number of regular pokeballs, and gain currency through steps or more likely gps movement so you cant cheat. Once you run out of pokeballs for the day, you have to wait, or you can go to the store and buy some. Or you can buy better balls for a better chance of capturing for even more.

 

Well if it's charged by gps, then I think that's okay, cause it looks like the pokemon will be fairly spread out, so you should get all you need from always having your phone on you and occasionally catching things.
