I was thinking more along the lines of how large of an illegal industry formed around things like prohibition during the 1920s and drugs and weapons. there are already a fuck ton of guns being smuggled into mexico from my state to trade for hard drugs, if they make them harder to get the price goes up, the risk goes up, and everything escalates

oh great, even more shit on top of my to do list, one of the hinges for my laptop broke. apparently the HP envy series has this issue a lot. gonna take it to best buy tomorrow and see if they can do it, if not I've already found what i think are the proper replacement parts online

EDIT: got it figured out, seems the hinge just came loose. just had to remove the screen bezel and tighten it

My dad has always been a great artist, painting fish, birds, and other bits of nature. This is something he did a couple years ago. I wish I had learned to do the same. He presumably did it without a reference as usual.
