I know about Robin William's passing. Suicide. Such a great actor suffering from Depression. I'll always remember him as Genie from Alladin. *Whistles Friend Like Me*

 

It's always so unfortunate that depression pushes people so far to the edge that they actually go off it. =/ I've never been there and I can't even fathom how horrible it must be, but I always hope those who do get close to the tipping point have someone to help reel them back in. It's just such a shame. So, so sad.

 

Lady Eboshi in Princess Mononoke? Jane in Disney's Tarzan? I really just love her voice and laugh :3

 

Princess Mononoke, as unfortunate as it is, I still haven't seen. I will at some point though!
I did really like Jane a lot in Tarzan though! Now I can put an actress to the voice behind her.

 

At my parents' home so Simba (the dog) isn't alone all day. Also fixing my grandpa's laptop. And installing the sims on my sister's laptop. When I'm done, I'll finally get a chance to change my avatar and sig.

 

Eating noodles. These are not as good as some others I've tried but I've added cayenne and chili/garlic oil. Now they are delicious!

 

My random thought here is how awesomely pervy Corruption of Champions is.
That it inspires fan art is a thing of beauty.

 

So I am currently applying for a job. First they ask me to fill in relevant work experience, then education and then why I am applying for this job. After that I am asked to upload my resume that holds all this information. <sigh>. Then as the final step they ask a few questions about who I am as a person and I find the question that asks me why I am applying for this job. For the love and glory of Satan, this actually pisses me off.

 

This means the job is usually more worth it. If a job just lets you in, it's a sign that they treat their workers like crap.

 

I sure hope so. That would be lovely.

I just wrote the most awkward email of my life...

I was supposed to have a meet and greet with all my new bosses today, but I never got a confirmation of what time to come in so yesterday I emailed the person who was supposed to get back to me, and she never did. Then again today I emailed her and she emailed me back apologizing for not getting back to me sooner because her brother had died a few days ago and her head had been in a fog.

I mean, I understand, and that's terrible. I'd not wish that sort of pain on anyone. But at the same time this is like a business conversation and so I was like, "I'm so sorry to hear that, there's no need to apologize" and then since there's nothing more to say about that, I hardly know the woman, so I just sorta finish with "I look forward to hearing from [name of person who will be contacting me] Thanks" so it's like...

Oh dear God what the fuck am I supposed to say. I mean I even googled what sorts of things to say to people that have lost someone...

But oh my God there's not a how-to for "What to say to someone you don't know who lost their family member and also this is a business conversation so I can't just be all sympathy"
