Looks pretty awesome there Murphy :D
I can see why you suggested the 970, however you use this PC mostly for gaming right?

Well, that was the intention. I don't play as many video games as I expected I would when I was building this, but yeah, it handles everything I throw at it.

So would you still recommend it even if someone were to only play a select few video games?

Yeah, even if you don't plan on using the full capacity, it's always good to have the headroom. That way if you DO decide to play something, you can always set it to max.

Anyone know of a good/cheap/smallish color printer/scanner? Preferably one that's relatively easy to use and has relatively cheap ink, but still looks good?

(feel free to laugh at me if that's not a thing, but printers have always been my weak point.)

    Printers follow 2 rules

    Buy cheap, pay high
    Buy high, pay cheap.

The first being the price of the printer, the second being the price of the ink.

    Ah. Sure.
I have: AMD A10-5800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~3.8GHz, AMD Radeon HD 7660D, and 8 GB RAM.
I believe that's literally it. XD I got this computer without a OS even.

@failedfetus Sounds like an interesting build there :D
    Update on my build:
Went on a shopping spree and got my network adapter, the graphics card, and the OS
Decided to go a little more on the graphics card and got an EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 SuperSC ACX 2.0+2GB For $213.49, then just got lucky with the OS, managing to nab Windows 7 Professional 64bit for only $70!!!
Man this build is coming along quite well :D

Okay, we're going to have to talk about your text color. I can't read this all on the light website theme.

Sorry, I got mine set on the dark theme because all the text colors I like are very light >.>
If it's a problem switch to the dark theme.
