I'm up early again, so I can reacclimate for graveyard shift.
Mo and I discussed the wedding yesterday, wondering how to pull off all the cooking that needs to be done. We have to do a lot our selves, since the cost of caterer is more than we can afford. And cakes! So expensive for something even a little fancy. We saw a dragon cake we both really wanted, but $800??? No Freaking Way!!!
Also there is the fact of having 40 people in our house and where to have them park their cars.............If the weather is bad, we are going to be so screwed!

We have yet to come up with many suitable answers as of this time, and less than two months to do it in. We need more money!
Still, we are excited about it! The rings are picked out, and yes, we still need to pay for them too.

 

I dunno about you, but I think it'd be cool to just do a wedding out in the middle of the desert.

 

We've planed to have the ceremony and reception in our back yard and porch area. The weather should be tolerable, even by the end of November here.
But wearing PJ's in the middle of the desert, and the lack of any place to plug in the hot plates......... it's just asking too much.
Would be cool if we had the money though!

On the fries topic, I like mine crispy with a light salt and either thousand island or ketchup. Separately, not together.

 

you know thousand island usually is made with ketchup and mayo

 

Add a tiny bit a paprika to and it will be perfect.

I only use ketchup if the fries are not so good, or over cooked. A little sea salt and pepper is all I need.

Although, blue cheese dressing can be a good treat, once in a while.

Skype isn't so bad. The skype group can be a great distraction sometimes. I'm not on there anymore, but last I checked it usually had some active members most of the time. Also, you don't have to use it as a chat program. It's just as serviceable as an IM service. I've connected with a lot of people over it!

Edit: If I'm eating fries for some reason.... BBQ sauce.

 

I usually use a little paprika, cayenne, and some sweet pickle relish

When it comes to fries, I prefer mine to be made of like bacon. So not really fries.

 

I know, but I don't like ketchup and mayo or ketchup and thousand island at the same time. The mixed flavor is a no-go for me
