This. This is what bothers me. People getting all defensive about their label while not understanding the differences between these three things. Because then you just know they're making shit up or being a special snowflake, but god forbid you try to call them out on it.

Like, if you, in your heart of hearts, actually feel like you should've been brought into existence as a cheese grater, that's fine. But your "sexuality" or "kink" is not cheese grater, unless you want to rub your bits on a cheese grater. Hell, it's not even your gender. It's how you self-identify, but unfortunately, we don't have a simple noun for that, so people co-opt those other ones.

One of my coworkers has discovered my propensity to meow/nya under duress.
We went out for coffee during lunch break. Driving back I was carrying a mocha in one hand, two in a cardboard tray in my lap, and holding my wallet in my right. While getting out of the car I was trying to maneuver my seat belt and the door lock simultaneously, so she tried to be helpful and reached for the steaming hot mochas in my lap and nearly tipped them over! One distressed cat-sound and a fit of laughing later, we made our way back inside burn-free. No first degree penis burns today!
That was actually... the second time in two days, so the cat is out of the bag so to speak.

 

I thought I had won all the rewards there were too but I'm kinda happy theres more!

Forgot to mention earlier. That last night having one of my random waking up episodes in the middle of the night again. I had surfed the forums for a bit and talked to @Poster Nutbag on Skype. But thought it was best to force myself to go sleep all because I had work in the morning. So as I was dozing off, suddenly a light filled my room near my computer. The source was a torch that was supposedly dead of batteries on my floor. Was now lit up as it was on fully charged batteries.
I gingerly stretch towards it to turn it off and hid under my covers for the rest of the night.
I can't deal with spooky stuff, especially in my territory.
