huh, just found out an old friend from middle school died from a meth overdose. he ended up dropping out in highschool and just kept fucking his life up even though his family tried to support him at every turn. the last time I talked to him he was asking me for money to get more drugs and I told him he needed to fix his own shit because no one else could. guess he didn't

I'm really not surprised it happened, his family tracked him down and put him through rehab twice but as soon as he got out he'd steel some of their shit, pawn it, and then go go snort, smoke, shoot, or pop most of it but leave himself enough to catch a bus ticket out of town until he needed more drugs and then he'd come back to his family and they'd take him in and he'd just do it over again. it's horrible, but at the same time it was something everyone who knew him saw a long time coming

 

Sadly I feel like those people just simply cannot change, and lead to nothing but self destruction

 

Had a couple all my wants not into "on there ways".

So yeah Christmas in comin' early. Or, my birthday is right on time. Was given a check for my birthday and decided to use that for some things I've been wishlisting. I love getting boxes!

I'm working at the Las Vegas Renfair. There was this little philapino chick dressed as Link. She was super flirty and very cute. Every time she'd die I couldn't help but stair. Ah! The Renfair! I don't know if I'm actually gonna make it this year. I try to go every year but eh.... I got burned out a little when I was part of the cast in the Louisiana ren fair. Which I never wanted to be a part of.
I had once said "I love going to Renaissance Fairs!", my (now) ex took that to mean we should sign up as cast members. Meaning I have to drag my ass out of bed at 6 in the morning, drive 1 and half hours to the fair, get dressed in outfit that cut off feeling the lower half of my body (not supposed to do that), in the freezing cold... I could go on.

I do like going and I do like to dress up. I don't like the heat though, so I can't wear my outfit. I don't know it I'll go this year.

 

oh yeah, probably should mention there was a shooting at my college yesterday morning, 1:30 AM, so far no details aside from 4 frat dudes getting in a fight then one of them went and got a 40 caliber handgun out of his car and shot the other 3, killing 1. I'm sure they were all probably drunk

 

That guy needed anger management lessons.
