The last five days have been hell it work, mostly due to call-ins. Still, I do as much as I can, and concentrate on the most critical items. My work ethic, and my lack of overt winning and bitching, have gained notice by the powers that be. I found out this week I am up for assistant lead In my department. This is not quite management, as our department has no dept. manager per say. I can't yet say, that this comes with any kind of raise, as it is a relatively new concept being tossed around. The final decision will be made by the new store manager, who has yet to replace the previous one that stepped down (not sure why he did, I thought he was doing a good job, and our store is one of the top 3 sales earners in this city). If anything, I can be assured of getting full time now.
