So literally the only way you can succeed is to not try.

So throw some shit at a plywood, maul the shit out of it, and glue something to it. Call it "the existential crisis of humankind".

Ugh, I need to go to class but first I need coffee and I woke up late.
I'd miss my morning class but I already skipped the last class so can't really afford to do that...

You know, I sorta wish I could work in a sex shop. I'd imagine it would be more fun than standard retail, you get to openly talk about sex and you'd meet interesting people. Too bad I'm too awkward to even walk into one.

Putting the below in a spoiler tag incase certain people don't want to read relationship bullshit.

So I split with my now ex over two months ago. Maybe closer to 3 now.
He dumped me. I was devastated.

After some time I've had time to reflect and be able to move past everything.
Ive made it clear that I have moved on and do not feel the same way.
And even after I try to be civil, im still met with immature slurs like being a slut and death threats.

Oh the joys. Just cant understand how people stoop to this level. And I feel so fucked over for trying to be nice about things when really I was hurt. Bad.

He wants you back after leaving in the first place and gets angry after you said no? His problem.

Last night someone from BD contacted me: An acquaintance I met around May this year. I had noticed she was from Portland, said hello, and we ended up sharing several PMs getting to know each other. We were both pretty darn busy at the time, so we didn't take that anywhere.

Anywho, she got back in touch, and we caught each other up on our lives. I mentioned considering visiting her place of work (a strip club) to say hello, but didn't know what times or days she worked. Well, turns out she worked tonight, and it was going to be her last night working as a dancer for a long time / ever, so she invited me to visit.

Long story short, I went and had a ton of fun! Made a couple new female friends. Experienced a new culture, and enjoyed myself immensely. The best part is it was surprisingly easy. We hung out at the bar/club for over 5 hours, chilling out, and I wasn't nervous at all. Now, it helps that we met previously online, and were into some similar things, but still! You guys all know how out of character this is for me.

I think I was the target of some envious stares, hanging out with two beautiful dancers all night :p. Though I'll be honest: I knew going in that the one from BD was already in a relationship (knowing that helped me relax: I knew she wasn't interested in me 'that way.') When she mentioned she had brought a friend I got a little nervous, but she was the nicest and most easy to talk to woman I've ever met :3! She was in a relationship as well but I wasn't headed out expecting a date anyway. Just loved meeting some new friends.

    Hope we can meet again!

I've had similar happen, minus the meeting online first. I go to a strip club/gentlemans club and make friends with the girls.

Little sister comes home today. Glad she's back, not so glad that I won't have the house to myself again.

In other news. I forgot how much I loved the aching feeling after a workout.

I wouldn't normally try to meet them in a strip club, but if you can go out and have mutual friends introduce you to one another, it makes things so much easier.
I was really worried when I found out there was an extra person coming along. One I didn't know anything about. But the three-way conversations we held made things flow much more easily. We didn't shut up for hours, excepting the brief breaks for one to go up on stage and dance. Then we just moved the conversation to the stage-side.

I must have made a good impression because they felt safe leaving their drinks with me, which is a huge "no" in general.

Funny thing, I've had the same happen. Seems to me that if we went to a club, we'd have all the girls on us. lol

To be fair, it was just the ladies I planned to meet :p. Apparently you have me beat: Meeting people without the extra help (getting introduced.)

It was the same with the guy I met at the bar. He wasn't trying to take me home or anything so we were able to have a decent concersation.
